  1. A very quick shoot: Audi A4 2.0T Front #2 by GTAMADDOG, on Flickr Audi A4 2.0T Front #1 by GTAMADDOG, on Flickr Audi A4 2.0T Rear by GTAMADDOG, on Flickr Audi A4 2.0T Interior by GTAMADDOG, on Flickr Unfortunately not my car (sister's boyfriend's new car), but it has sparked a major interest in me either getting a MK5 Golf GTI or an Octavia vRS petrol despite the mileage I do.
  2. I've placed an automatic cobblestone generator below my old house and linked it directly to my energy condenser so it'll feed it a small amount of constant EMC. Doesn't help much, but it's better than just working on light anyway, and it looks pretty cool as well as far as cobblestone projects go. I've just got to get one more block breaker set up and then it's complete. Can't believe I've actually managed to set up the machines I have already as I manage to find the whole concept of making the machines confusing as you have to make an item to be able to make another item to finally be able to make the item you originally wanted to make. I usually end up forgetting why I'm making something half way through it and wonder what I'm doing
  3. I have thought about getting a texture pack, but I've yet to find one I really like.
  4. So T3hReaper just located this mammoth looking thing not too far from my new house. There's a stupidly large cave network under it as well, it's the most impressive thing I've seen on Minecraft. http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x104/GTAMADDOG/javaw2013-05-0520-43-05-42_zps54877a20.jpg
  5. They never fail to make a game look fantastic before it's released, even if it's running a very similar graphics engine to the previous game. Is it really only May, hurry up September..
  6. If only they were quite a bit better on fuel when not hooning it :(
  7. Doom and gloom from me, in the form of Doom Metal. Dem riffs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RLxsdC6PXJA
  8. Wouldn't effect me at all, I'm happy to get materials the old fashioned way and make everything out of cobblestone. As you know, the most advanced thing I've managed to construct is a Mining Turtle :p
  9. When you watch the rest of this guy's videos you soon wonder how he still has a license.. along with the other racers whose number-plates he leaves on display. Car sounds nice though.
  10. Ahhh, back in the day.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dUa5yJNaLBs Used to watch this music video every day on Kerrang/Scuzz before I went to school :p
  11. I've started building a new place away from the main area now as there's no room to expand my old place, so I've demoted that to being a mining quarters rather than my house from now on. Almost managed to build a path all the way from the old place to the new place, but somehow I ran out of cobblestone despite all of the tunnel mining I've been doing for the last couple of weeks. I'll upload a new video tomorrow, I've got another sore throat though so I'm still incredibly monotone in the new video, but you could just mute it and put music on :p
  12. Nice one, let me know when you're back from Uni. Pub ooooooooooooooooooooooooon.
  13. ...damn. Liking this band a lot and no drum kit in sight.
  14. Actually did something other than digging an endless tunnel. Slightly re-worked my house so it is now made out of Basalt Cobblestone and a darker coloured wood so it doesn't look as basic now. Put some fencing around the outside as I want a garden and hopefully a couple of trees will grow around the house as well. Other than that my indoor pond has gained two octopus' for some reason, how they got in there I'll never know. The tunnel is also successfully past the lava site now so it can carry on in an arrow-straight line into the distance once more. That's it from me until next weekend :(
  15. Fraps is a bit hit and miss with me as well, but if you show little persistence and if you're prepared to record one long clip and then edit it down afterwards it's fine. The issue with Fraps could just be isolated to me though, I wouldn't be surprised if that is the case anyway. 15 minutes until the new video is up. However, unless you're really bored, don't watch it. It's 21 minutes long and came in at 760MB which has taken an hour and a half to upload, luckily I wanted to wash the car so I let the video upload while I was doing that :p
  16. I did about a year ago, but contrary to popular belief that had a worse knock-on effect when recording than Fraps so I went back to Fraps after a couple of videos.
  17. Fraps is what I use to record videos at the moment. For some reason it's got a habit of either not recording or crashing if I try to do more than one clip at the moment, but I don't get any slow-downs or anything when recording. Only problem is the file sizes, but I'm working on a way of sorting those out.
  18. I've only had the sign on the front of my house go missing, and my dog, but I think the dog might've died of starvation. The only time I've been in other people's houses is when I've been recording a video which all show I just walk around and then leave again. If I can get the rendering done and keep the file size low there should be a new video today. I hate having slow internet, if I could upload at twice the speed I'd consider doing more and longer videos.
  19. Expanded the tunnel that runs underground behind my house. Goes all the way under the river now which was a task in itself as I had to dig further down to stop water getting in. I've come to a potential problem now as I'm half way through the volcano type area and I've struck lava now, so I'll have to figure a away out around that as well. I don't know where I'm actually going with this tunnel, but I've got nothing else to do :p
  20. I'll be back online tomorrow evening for another Minecraft filled weekend. Don't have any projects of my own lined up yet, so I'll just go exploring, or if someone needs stuff mining I can do that for them while they build. Need to do something for my next video though, might be more interesting if I join TeamSpeak. Can't stand listening to myself talk for 10 minutes :p
  21. I'll go for a re-cap of the week. Started off by being tailgated by some pleb in a van on the way to work. I was doing a consistent 60MPH in a 60MPH limit, but that wasn't enough for him. A few miles from home and I came to a nice long straight where he could have over-taken me with no traffic in the opposite direction so I eased off a bit to make it easier for him. Better to have an idiot in-front rather than behind. Instead of over-taking he just sat there getting closer to the rear of my car as I eased off, then we reach the bottom of the straight with a blind right-hander at the end, about 200 yards from the corner this idiot decides to over-take me after I've accelerated back to 60MPH again. Pleb's crappy little van has no power and before I know it we're at the corner and the front of his van is still only just nudging in-front of my car so I ease off again to aid him in getting past, at this point I see an articulated lorry coming in the other direction and ease off some more bracing myself ready to witness an idiot die in-front of me. Pleb then forces his way back on my side of the road showering the front of my car with stones and crap out of the middle of the road, forcing me to the edge of the road and he somehow gets away with it with a second to spare. All that effort and dangerous driving and I let him fly off into the distance, 15 miles later and I've caught up to him again at a set of lights on a dual carriageway, pull along side him and give him the sternest look I can gather while calling him a charming name using an expletive. I don't usually condone conflict like that, but he well and truly deserved it. Later that day I discovered a couple of the stones he threw up had actually left chips in my windscreen, but luckily they've not manifested into anything bigger. One good reason to get a dash-cam. Away from the roads. At work they decided to bring in a new person to help out on the phones over the Summer as it's ridiculously busy in the Summer months. New person started Monday, all seemed well, they were picking up the job quite quickly, thought nothing more of it. Wednesday arrives and the new person gets called into the manager's office along with another superior. Person emerges 20 minutes later, says nothing so we think nothing of it, maybe they just wanted to know how they were getting on. Nope, 15 minutes later, my supervisor comes upstairs and says "I'm sorry, but you're losing ______ already, they've just got another job taking over from _____". Oh great, not even there a week and they've changed jobs and left me and my colleagues in the lurch again with the busy period less than a couple of weeks away. No consideration for us again. Also got an older bloke at work under investigation as people have only just started realising he pretty much does nothing all day every day, and that he keeps palming work off onto me and my colleagues. He pretty much sits at his desk all day pretending to look busy by typing random things into the database occasionally, then he wanders off outside for a cigarette for 10 minutes every hour. So I can see us losing another member of staff soon as he won't buck his ideas up, he'll just leave. tl;dr: Van driver was a bit like some items in the back of his van, a tool. Work is just screwed.
  22. Considering getting a GoPro Hero 3 ready for when I get out on the bike in the next few months. There are some down-hill trial courses in the forest which I might attempt once I'm a bit more used to riding a bike again, apart from once last year when I took a leisurely ride around the forest I don't think I've ridden a bike properly in a few years. Could potentially also use it for driving videos as well once I've got a car with a bit more pace to it, get some videos from up around the Welsh mountain roads and stuff. Other than that, the car needs two new drive-shafts and maybe wheel bearings as well. I bought some drop-links for it a couple of weeks ago, but I'm yet to fit them. I'm hoping the noises I'm hearing at the moment are related to the drive-shafts and that I won't need to bother with wheel bearings, but I need to buy the drive-shafts and get them fitted first. MOT is next month as well so I need to do that sharpish otherwise they'll easily pick up on it, aiming have no advisories on the MOT, but I can't see that happening
  23. Boring one from me and it doesn't involve a BMW. I'm swaying towards getting one of these instead of a 330D now. It's been getting on for six months that I've been looking for the right 330D and I've still not found it. Now the facelift Octavias are coming into my price range so I might just get one and get it remapped. Then again there's a lovely looking '05 330CD on eBay at the moment with factory sat-nav, remap and swirl-flaps removed. It's up for almost £7k, but I really think it's a bit silly to be spending that much on an E46 now.
  24. When you're in the Tekkit Launcher where you sign in, on the left are some Tabs with the names of Mods on them. I'd guess it's set to Tekkit Lite as default, you'll need to select the Tekkit Classic tab and then sign in, you should be able to join the server then.
  25. I think the server list displays the red x and 1.3 next to it if you're still using Tekkit Lite. I changed to Tekkit Classic and it's fine now so I'd try that first :)
