  1. This. I also think the OP is no better than the guy he's trying to belittle by posting on forums about it.
  2. I bought a Logitech G500, Steele Series Qck (Apparently it's the PC version, I didn't know you needed a mouse-mat for anything other than a PC :S) and Led Zeppelin: Mothership - Very Best of (2CD/DVD) from Amazon yesterday, so expect me to finally post some photos of that stuff in about 9 months.
  3. I really like that idea. I think it looks better than having a fixed mounting point, gives some proper perspective an all that.
  4. I would've said the GoPro HD as well. Wouldn't mind one of those myself :p
  5. SBCriss for me too. It almost looks like something from another world.
  6. Went for a second interview (for the same job) today and thought I royally screwed it up when I got asked how I'd deal with a certain type of situation and I gave what I thought was the most retarded answer ever. Don't know what I did but they phoned up at 4:50PM and offered me the job. I start on the 4th April :D
  7. Lol, this cracked a smile after an interview that didn't go as well as I'd hoped. I'm guessing you meant "She's always worth a look" in the way I think you did anyway :p Maybe I should post a video of some Slam Death Metal, that'll cause a stir, especially the album art, so maybe I wont :/
  8. The way many people tell potential new users to look at it is as Lego, but in virtual form with many more possibilities and you don't need to keep paying for new boxes of bricks to make a house or something like you would with real Lego. On top of that you get zombies and stuff (which I personally hate with a passion) which will try and blow up anything you've built or attack you at night so you need to create defenses against them as well as building the weird and wild things that you want. Graphics aren't the be-all and end-all to me. It's the games own personal style which I think it's pulled off quite well, if it had proper graphics like the latest games then I don't think it would seem right. But if anyone else is like me you will start seeing blocks moving around and forming things when you close your eyes to go to sleep at night so I wouldn't recommend playing it for long periods of time, lol.
  9. Tidy looking example. As Me™ said, keep it standard, but I'd probably put the Rallye decals on it.
  10. It's basically a National Park in Wales with a couple of mountains thrown in for good measure.
  11. Suprises thread by entering it and posting a Dubstep video: Not usually a fan of Dubstep at all, but this has got some progressive/trance vibe to it.
  12. Used to play the free version in college instead of doing assignments, it was more than good enough at passing a boring day/few months (:p) at college. Bought the paid-for version in September and seeing as I'd just lost my job I was looking for something to do besides play Counter Strike and I wouldn't be suprised if I spent 11 hours a day on it. It seriously screwed up how I went to sleep for a while because every time I closed my eyes I'd start thinking of new things to build and how to build them so it kept me awake even if I wasn't on it. If you can find a server hosted by some forums it'll be much better as you can create a whitelist where only authorised people can join the server meaning there's less chance of your creations getting griefed which is a large problem in the free version if you try and build anything in multiplayer. I went on the Overclockers UK server and built quite a lot but the admin kept asking people if they wanted to start a new map and they did it without warning quite a lot so I gave up playing it. I haven't been on Minecraft in a few months now I think. It's still well worth the price they're asking for it though.
  13. Ahaha, I was going to post this for the luls. Music really seems to be taking a down-turn lately. I can stand some Top-40/Hyped stuff but this... nah :p
  14. Skip to 1:42 to get rid of most of the growling and straight to some clean female vocals. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
  15. I quite like the 300C. The SRT-8's performance doesn't seem bad at all for what I'd guess is a pretty heavy car.
  16. I ate my latest purchase before seeing this thread so I can't really post a picture :p
  17. I think I might donate some money tomorrow to a charity who is over there helping at the moment, someone like the Red Cross probably. I can't donate much obviously but something's better than nothing. It just seems to keep getting worse and worse.
  18. Thanks, there may be one or two more events for this year but they're a bit hit and miss really, depends if any of the people I usually go with want to go to them. If I get the job I'm going for the interview for today then I'll probably try and get my driving test finally out of the way as soon as possible so I can go to whatever events I want whether anyone else wants to or not, lol. I was starting to get a hang of things towards the end of Sunday but it was too late as it was the last stage, I was a bit rusty from not using the camera for a couple of months so if I can get to events myself then I could improve the results quite a bit. Might even by myself a more capable camera eventually :p
  19. I'll enter this week, I'd completely forgot about PhOTW until now :/ Rolling Welsh Country-Side by GTAMADDOG, on Flickr I was going to enter one of the Brecon Beacons but haze spoilt the picture really.
  20. Quad-Post Extravaganza. Cowabunga! Had a phone call today inviting me to an interview, just a shame I missed it and they left a voice mail  They also sent me an email inviting me to the interview which is apparently at 1:15AM. Someone's obviously still half asleep from the weekend.. I hope :oook: I'm more concerned about getting there now rather than the interview itself :p
  21. Looks tidy, makes a change from all of the black masks. Then again black masks wouldn't have looked as good on a white car :p
  22. Some of the things I've been reading people say on websites such as Twitter are absolutely disgusting. Whether they originally planned their comments to be for the 'luls' or not some have been in extremely bad taste and the people should be ashamed. The situation just seems to keep getting even more bleak for Japan, some of the pictures are shocking, whole towns/cities just.. gone. Constant problems with the power stations and I think I read somewhere that there's a volcano that might erupt there now too. The power is also going to be on and off over the next couple of days apparently. It's called a "Rolling" power-cut where different places are left without power for a while, then it comes back on and then another place is left without power for a while and so on. Apparently Tokyo is without power at the moment. This could be part of the reason why some of the members here haven't been online although I highly doubt it, being on the computer would be the last thing I'd do if I was there now. Good luck and stay strong.
  23. Had to venture deep into Wales to get there but it's not too far away. Yeh, the FLK IT plate car was there last year, he actually got the rear out on purpose last year. Not so much this year though, must've had a bad experience since last year :p
  24. Some from today, I'll just throw the rest on FlickR tomorrow and leave it at that. None of them are anything special. Had another go at panning, didn't do as bad as I thought I would but I'm also no-where near to mastering it either. I always make excuses and today is no different, the sun always seemed to be facing me, shutter speed wasn't low (?) enough and I just need more practice  Too far away for this shot but some other idiot photographer decided to stand infront of me at the last minute: P1020467 by GTAMADDOG, on Flickr Took this at the last second, only just heard the car before it went past, thought it came out pretty well besides the car not being centered: P1020478 by GTAMADDOG, on Flickr Shutter speed wasn't low enough: P1020516 by GTAMADDOG, on Flickr Same again, and a spec of dust on my lens: P1020530 by GTAMADDOG, on Flickr Same again: P1020535 by GTAMADDOG, on Flickr Non-Panning shots which I'm much more pleased with.. P1020544 by GTAMADDOG, on Flickr P1020576 by GTAMADDOG, on Flickr P1020578 by GTAMADDOG, on Flickr P1020580 by GTAMADDOG, on Flickr P1020603 by GTAMADDOG, on Flickr Would've edited them a bit with contrast and cropping but I've still not got Photoshop installed :p
