  1. I was thinking about choosing the Mustang before I got the game, just to be different to most other people, but then I just went for the Lancia. I bought the Mustang later on anyway, I couldn't bare to leave it sat in that dodgy garage doing nothing :p Esprit is still there, cba with that, I don't like the dashboard, luls.
  2. Damn, I'm a couple of days late, haven't been on TDUC for a day or so. Merry birthday for a couple of days ago :p
  3. Good luck and stay safe. Truly shocking stuff.
  4. I joined a club and found that it didn't work half the time and communication between club members is non-existent unless you're in the club, have an instant messenger open or are in the actual race. This means you can't appologise if you've missed their invitation or want to give a reason why you aren't accepting it etc. This has annoyed me to no end. I find the single player challenges to be a complete grind now, I've got no will to finish them at all, it's all too samey and I absolutely loathe the Eliminator races because they just go on, and on, and on around boring circuits. I usually end up falling asleep and crashing half way through every one. There are too many immature people playing who just want to crash in to you for the sake of it, I knew as soon as they mentioned damage would be included in the game that rammers would be a continuous problem. There's no way of stopping them from doing it, like if they're going a certain amount faster than you they should just drive straight through you. Yeh, blocking them. Fantastic. So I can only get rid of them after my car has been damaged, what good is that. Club races when they work. I've only experienced crap in those as well. People cutting corners big time, why even bother racing? Bugger off somewhere else. Rammers in races as well, as soon as they see me inching ahead everyone immediately seems to use P.I.T. menouver on me or my club members because they can't win (or try to win) a race fairly. I know it happens in other games but I've never known it as bad as it is in Test Drive Unlimited 2. The car list isn't that big, the patches don't seem to do anything at all, the user-base seems for the most part (from my point of view) immature (see TDU2.com forums and general ingame nonsense for reference), the single player side is too repetitive, too many cheaters, too difficult to earn money to buy anything decent, the Casino doesn't reward enough and the Club hardly ever seems to work. I was playing the game solidly every day for the first week or so, then my activity went down an extremely steep cliff and I have hardly played the game since. I've returned to Counter Strike... again. I want to play it and love it but I can't.
  5. I approve of this. It brightened up my pretty depressing Sunday. Who is she or am I being stupid and should already know?
  6. I saw a white Focus RS last weekend that sounded like a bag of nails rather than a petrol sports car. Saw a green Focus RS yesterday. Today: 2 Nissan GTR's (1x white, 1x grey) on the motorway within the space of half a mile. Common as muck now, I tell ya :p Aston Martin DB9 Volante. Porsche (997) Turbo.
  7. I've been backing my save up every so often and luckily not had a corrupt one yet but I can sense it coming very soon if I keep gaining levels like I am at the moment. Level 31 and going still strong so far, so I hope a patch sorts it out. If it does become corrupted and unrecoverable now the game will indefinitely be remaining in the drawer while I play Counter Strike instead. Wont be wasting my time on it.
  8. Looks tidy. I doubt the multiplayer side of it will appeal to me that much if it's anything like the Call of Duty franchise with it's "Perks" and levels, that stuff annoys the Hell out of me. Guns + Skill only please, not lolnukes and retarded dogs.
  9. Really liking these. They've got a good post-apocalyptic atmosphere about them, especially the two with the shoe and the toy bear.
  10. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FfzQLZtCZSY I don't think it's possible for me to ever get tired of this band.
  11. I missed most of the F40/959 segment. Seems to be a common theme for me this series, I can't get my Top Gear snacks ready in time for when the show starts so I always miss the first 5-10 minutes. I think I need to stop watching Star In a Reasonably Priced Car as well. I found that quite annoying/weird to watch this week after last weeks cringe-worthy-ness. The Moon-Buggy segment felt like it needed to be featured in one of James May's documentary programs rather than Top Gear. Can't remember what they're called but they're on Dave all the time, lol.
  12. I was expecting to be disappointed with the performance. My computer's a few years old now (besides the graphics card which isn't top of the range anyway) but I'm actually quite impressed. I seem to fair well, especially out of the cities. Go into the cities and I get about 30FPS and my keen First Person Shooter eyes notice this without needing a read-out but it's still more than playable. I was going to upgrade my computer to play this game comfortably but I'm glad I didn't because I can run it fine anyway.
  13. I'd probably give it a 7. It's difficult for me because I think the vehicle handling is good and I can easily live with it but it can still be improved upon. Hardcore mode from the start using a Logitech G25 for me, I wouldn't know what the other settings were like, haven't even thought about using them.
  14. Alot of people seem to be decent enough, which is the complete opposite to the way people act on the TDU2 Forums. People seem to keep to themselves in-game unless asked or they just drive up to me to see what I'm driving and then they shoot off again. But, I don't know what it is with the Subaru Impreza but I swear every one I see ends up ramming me and trying to drive me off the road. Veyron drivers seem fine which is something I wasn't expecting. But Impreza drivers and people who've literally just started the game just seem to want to crash into absolutely everything that moves, the same thing happened in the Beta though so it's probably the same people.
  15. 320 miles on my Impreza followed by the SLR 722S with 250 miles. I switch between cars a lot, can't really stick driving the same one all the time. Subaru has the most because I used it to discover almost all of the dirt tracks on Ibiza, SLR has that many because I used it to discover left over roads on Ibiza. Proof, cba, mileage isn't that impressive anyway, lol.
  16. Mine changes between "Open: FullCone" and "Strict:Symmetric" quite often. Which ever one I get I can still connect to people in-game, use the Casino and Clubs, etc. so I've just decided to ignore it :p
  17. Triple-Post. Carrying on my "Happy-Person" status in this thread :p Applied for some jobs. Got a reply from one asking me to fill in a questionaire and also saying I had a good chance of getting an interview within an hour of me sending the original email. It's work from home and part-time for now while the company sets up an office in the town I live in so it's a result even if I did have to walk to work, it's not far at all. Also got the chance to put my car inside the garage out of the rain today. My dad's staying at his partners house so the Alfa's out and the DeeTub is off the drive and into the garage along with the Skoda for a change. My current car and hopefully my next car parked next to each other :) Skoda's rear tyres are on the limiters as I discovered on Monday when I washed it. Scared my dad because he said "Oh no, it'll be fine for me to drive it" and I said "I suspect the police will have a different point of view if you haven't got proof you're on your way to getting the tyres changed". He hasn't driven it this week :p
  18. I noticed this too the first time I drove it after I finally gave in to taking it out of the Used Car Dealership. The Buggy doesn't sound like a V8, looks too big and I just can't be bothered with it.
  19. Saw a 1999 Ford Mustang which was red and had two gold stripes down the middle of it, parked outside a Chinese Food Take-away. Didn't look too bad, wouldn't be the colour scheme I'd go for normally. Still not the worst looking car I've seen around here by a long way. Obviously the American's on here probably see a Mustang (x1000000) every day. They're rarer than an Aston Martin DBS around here so it seems :p I've seen two DBS in the last month where as I've only seen one Mustang :/
  20. Playa's gon' hate, y0. I'll still be playing the game despite it's flaws even if everyone else stops playing it, simple as that. MOAR IBIZA FOR ME ;)
  21. I wasn't around to see them but I'd much prefer to have them back over the crap we've got these days. The only cars I liked from the latest generation were the Skoda Fabia/Octavia and Subaru Impreza but even they've gone and we're left with Citroens and Fords with the same winner at the end of every flaming event.
  22. I started off instantly being annoyed by the voice acting, then I gradually faded it out to the point I forgot about it for about a week but as of yesterday I'm back to square one again. Something clicked yesterday as I started a race and I thought "Oh, bloody Hell, she's talking again, I completely forgot she did that". :/
  23. I know they have a limiter in real life but being a game I was expecting them to have removed it, especially seeing as it isn't the most realistic of games :p
  24. Runs OK for me, smooth as silk out of the cities, go in to a city and the FPS drops to 30-40 and I can tell, but other than that and the occasional stutter when I get connected to someone laggy it's fine. I did just get a stupid amount of slow down when I went to enter a club though. Clicked to enter it from the map, FPS took a nose dive, probably 10 at most and the sound became distorted as well, then the screen went blank. Instant thought was "Oh no, ATI drivers" because my mouse cursor looked like it was doing 10fps on the desktop after I'd ALT + TABd, then TDU2 came back up but the screen was still blank. Then I pressed Ctrl + Alt + Delete and waited 10 seconds, Task Manager came up, decided to see if TDU2 was still going to brought it back up and I was back in the club with normal FPS again.
  25. I think I remember my untuned Audi RS6 doing 155MPH (?) in 5th, then I expected to change into 6th and be cooking again but it just sat at 155MPH at slightly lower RPMs. DBS definitely does 191MPH in 5th then 6th just seems to be a gear you'd use to get better fuel economy.. but oh, wait a minute..
