GTAMADDOG

We had a very little amount of snow Monday night but by 12pm yesterday it had all melted. The weather forcast keeps saying that it'll snow two days from the day I look at the forcast, then the next day they've changed their mind and it's just cloud again. If it keeps up my mum's going to be stuck in India for longer than she expected, she flew from Gatwick and is returning to Gatwick next week but it seems they've closed Gatwick airport today. She's in +35C sunshine and we're in -5C weather. She couldn't believe it when I told her. Slightly more on topic: My car started first turn of the key at -5C after being sat unused for 12 days. She has earned mucho's trust points.

Ahaha, I love the difference between the amount of snow you have and what we have. We have nothing at all, infact we have sun and blue sky. If I were you I'd be drifting around a Tesco car park when some of the snow melts away :p

Looks good to me. Yesterday evening it was a bit of a shock. When I came on, I thought something had gone seriously wrong with the site/server maintenance that was meantioned on Facebook. Oh, and the other shock was that it was really bright, but I was sat in an unlit room, in the daylight it's pretty easy on the eye in my opinion. I liked the old Tarmac/Road colours that were used before but I don't mind a change at all. One thing I don't like which other people have mentioned is the Latest Posts/Game Shops/Advertisement down the left hand side, it doesn't seem natural which I guess you will get used to in time.

Don't have any decorations up yet. God help us when we do, our cats usually attack the tree until there are no Christmas tree ball-balls left on the tree. And the tinsel usually ends up ripped to shreds and all over the floor..

Oh, my PSN is GTAMADDOG, by the way. Just incase anyone wants a race online at some point. That's one of the few things I'm yet to try..

I'm only level 12 in A-Spec. I can't be bothered with B-Spec at the moment so that's still level 0. Just need to finish the I-A and Special license and then that's those out of the way. Then I think I'll do all the Special Events that I can do at my level because they seem to bring in more money than the races I can enter at the moment, especially the AMG Event. That's the other thing I hate, I'm forced to buy silly little cars I don't want just to enter a championship.

I finally got my copy of Gran Turismo 5 this morning. I haven't really achieved much on it at the moment, I've completed the B-Spec License and done the Sunday Cup, Karting Special Event and Top Gear Test Track Special Event in the VW T1 Buses so far. People seem to make out that the T1 Bus race is a pain in t'arse when I found it quite straight forward :confused: I'll start by showing the first car I bought. It seems I've turned into a hair-dresser :oook: My thinking behind this choice was that I can't afford anything quick, the beginner races aren't that fast paced so ideally I need something that can go around corners quite well compared to a Toyota Yaris or similar. Now I remember how much I hate red things on the internet. The paintwork looks dodgy in some places when it didn't on my TV.

Considering it's already been patched twice and it's been announced they plan on continuing doing so I reckon it could turn out pretty good in the end. It's the problem with games these days, they get released too soon and have problems with them which get discovered by the people who pre-order who make the game sound crap before most people have got their hands on it. Developers rely on being able to patch after the game's released when they shouldn't, they should release a quality product from the word go. Hopefully I'll get GT5 tomorrow, I don't understand why it wasn't delivered yesterday but then again I didn't see the post-man at all so maybe this invisible snow we have forced him to stay at the sorting office because of health and safety or something.

I have a key-ring like that :D It's an official VW polished chrome one off my mum's old Polo keys. She had two and gave me one key-ring and put the other on her new Golf keys.

I bought it yesterday, should be here tomorrow with a bit of luck. I really need to keep off the internet though, everyone's being so friggin' negative about it and harping on about Forza 3 and comparing both of them and in some cases SHIFT as well. Makes me wish I hadn't bought it even though I've consistently wanted to.

I don't know, I'd just like to see what they look like but it doesn't matter now.

Can someone upload a photo of a few of the 'Standard' cars? All I see is 'Premium' cars in photos and I've almost given in to buying the game so someone make the decision for me :p

Great shots. I particularly like the two Miura and the two BMW shots. I reckon they concentrated on getting Photomode and the Replays right more than alot of things in GT5. The 'new' Impreza makes me sad.

lolMidnight. Seriously, I'll probably be half way through one of my random dreams about racing a quad bike with mounted guns around Tesco or something like that at that time. It'll have to wait until 7:30AM.

I've got Bad Company 2 and I've got 5.1 surround sound but I don't think I've turned the volume up enough to experience the sound effects yet. I might try it later, I decided to stop playing after I headshotted someone with a pistol from the opposite side of the map (No joke, I was pretty stunned to say the least) and a few other dodgy shots :p

Ahh, I forgot about this. Something which will hopefully cheer up my otherwise pretty depressing week.. Don't let me down Atari.

I'm still just about managing to resist buying it. Atleast I don't have to buy a Playstation 3 like some people if I do give in :p
