Being British is about driving in a German car to an Irish pub for a Belgian beer, then on the way home, grabbing an Indian curry, Jewish fried fish with Irish chips or a Turkish kebab, to sit on a Swedish sofa and watch American shows on a Japanese TV. All this whilst being suspicious of anything foreign. Only in Britain can you get a pizza delivered to your home faster than an ambulance. Only in Britain do banks leave both doors open and chain pens to the counter. The supermarkets make sick people walk to the back of the shop for prescriptions whilst healthy people get their cigs at the front of the shop. We might be British but by heck we're funny...

I removed the "SALEEN" banner off the S281 3-valve coupe by 'shopping the words blank from the alpha map on the logo3 file, but it caused TDU to crash, so I replaced the original .bnk and now as soon as I enter the garage where the car is parked, TDU has a heart attack. Bah. Reinstall time... Beware all ye who alter car .bnks - here be dragons!! :pirateslap:

Can't really comment on how it went, I was pulled away for dinner early on (bloody family... :mad:) but I think it was OK while it lasted. Bizarrely, JonLim was the only guy with next to no lag, and he's in Singapore, isn't he? Bloody BT, also it took me ages to get you guys to appear in my game world: the wire-frame earth under the number of visible players kept turning red :eek: Still, we can always try one that works properly another time :rolleyes:

I'd have to agree there. I wonder how much of that information will be fnord... The recently deceased George Carlin has this to say about the state of education, not just in America but I would say in Britain too. *Note: Carlin enjoys swearing and using explicit imagery.* 100 posts!! :bananasplit:

That's just one of the things about freedom of speech: I may not agree with what you are saying but I will die for your right to say it... ;) Personally, I feel it is important to question everything, everywhere, especially politics, the BBC and even religion, and, yes, I have read the Bible and I must say I find some passages of it repulsive. But of course, all of this is just my opinion. :whistling:

As soon as I installed TDU and fired it up and sorted my DFP out and put my USB PS2 controller on the floor by my pedal box with a bit of card and cellotape over one of the analogue sticks, I thought, "cool, a clutch pedal!" and so Captain_ClutchKick was born :)

Ah, no, the idea is that it is the same car powered by one engine of its own and another from exactly the same car, joined at the crankshaft to make a split straight 6. Not many people mess around with engines like that these days...

Tempromentally, I'd imagine, need to get it. Half Life 2 was stable until for I entered the bank with the puzzle and the generators, then I just cannot advance anywhere because as soon as I exit the room I am in I get memory errors. So until I upgrade, I'm gonna enjoy some old-skool Half Life - Opposing Force FTW!! :D

I got the Valve Complete Pack off Steam, only thing is my PC meets the requirements but won't run all the games well if at all... Bah, I really need a new MoBo, and some RAM... :(
