    The front wing's had had been changed in the past, as mis-matching colours to the rest of the body, as had the wheel's which were from a later model. Done a reg check as well, in case they'd badged it a 300 to make it more of a sleeper and it's a E300 petrol. :)

    Was an E300. (or at least that's what was on the back) Guy jumped the que a few cars to get next to me as I had a free space and he'd have been racing an impreza. Don't think he knew what powers the LS and it was just a big, old saloon car. But he got a better start than me but once I got moving I had it. Pro's & con's of a slush box in the space of 5 seconds, :lol:

    It is, but the first few on there were in the wet so just got alot of wheel spin and no go, and later ones was me being cautious not to jump the line, the surface of the 'strip' is dire, the lights have the most weird way of working or the fact it's a slush box made for carrying sir about in refinement rather than swatting hot hatch's away at the lights. There is also the fact, I'm maybe not the fastest to react to things. ;)

    Turn's out 2 tonne land yacht is't too bad at drag racing... [ATTACH]23016[/ATTACH] Top time of 15.92 and speed trapped at 92mph on the same 1/4 mile in the LexBus. Start of the day was bad, for a start the surface is poor(it's an old WW2 RAF base and the runway's age shows) and it was also sodden wet meaning everyone was struggling for traction (TC light flashing while doing 50mph+ on the first few runs!) but thankfully the sun came out and dried it up! First few runs were bad as well as let off before the finish markers as was't sure of the run off/brakes. Managed to surprise alot of people to start with as most folk must have expected it to just be an old grandad saloon, not a 300hp bus. (Civic Type-R's, Feista ST's got it worst) Here's me going down the strip with a friends tuned Focus ST, still in the wet. Went much better than expected, but once it dried up, he was getting much better times!

    Actual rant... When it's actually a nice, sunny hot day outside (we do actually get them in Scotland), the public transport always have the heating ramped up the the maximum. Spending 3 1/2 hours on a train is not good ever, and sweating the whole way is't helping things.

    So insted of us randomly going on the chatbox and leaving a random rant (some of us do this more than others...) So have a rant about anything be it the experience at the shop, peoples driving, that guys haircut you saw, myself...you get the idea. Just keep it within the rules, and try not to get into arguments over a rant. Enjoy.:happyroll:

    Did I post this here? Few week's ago when the Lexbus was at one of the super car meet's. Photographer for the day who's also my mate snapped this between getting all the fancy stuff arriving. :lol: His page can be found here, for better pictures of better cars from the same meet as well as others!

    So while at Halfords (Big chain store for car stuff, for the no UK guys) I came accross this while seeing if they had any headlamps thatd fit the Lexbus... [ATTACH]22900[/ATTACH] Because if you happen to own one of the 2 LFA's in the UK, you'll nip down to the local store for a bulb. :lol:

    Okay though of one set I can live with. The KPGC-10 Skyline GT-R... And the R32 Skyline GTR... Another would be the. Series 1 E-type Coupe... And the Mk2 Jaguar XKRS. Before you kick up a fuss, the XK is in the bloodline of the E-type and well...it was out before the F.

    My guess for there new show (C'on, we all know it'll happen) will be on Sky, but I could see Netflex trying to nab them. I've said before, the whole thing seem's like Clarkson found a way to get out a contract and start a clean slate. He's on his last warning and maybe doesn't have as much control on what can happen on the show. Does somthing, reports himself and get's the boot. He's open game for another network who's be more than willing for him & 'the gang' (that's anyone who was to do with TG) and can start all over and less people will care as there TV license aint paying for it. Anyway, filling the boot's for a new gen of TG. I'd say Jason Plato, Edd China and Chris Evens. Or, BRING BACK WILLIAM WOOLARD! :lol:

    I'd not panic too quickly, people have wanted to have Clarkson & the TG boys on there channel for years. I'd say expect to see them on a new show on another channel (My guess is Sky) and it having a very similar style show format.

    Seeing things from over the past few years, Fallout 4 is due! PS4 please and no stupid "year exclusive DLC" again. Ta. :cheeky: Well look's like I'd better stock up on food, hunker down in my shelter and start a bottle cap collection. And Tell work I wont be in for a while. :lol:
