Car Spotting: What You Saw Recently!
Homer_Bart replied to The Queen's topic in Automotive Discussion
Nothing interesting, again: My neighbour has just bought an E63 AMG, and no worries, I checked the plates, it's the real deal! :D http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC04528-1.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC04529.jpg In China: http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC08198.jpg Random: http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC04497.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC04532.jpg Something interesting! So yesterday, I was invited to the launch/preview of the Aston Martin V12 Vantage, which was also the event for the auction of 2 Jaeger-LeCoultre watches, which were auctioned off for S$28,000 and S$32,000. Without further ado, here are the shoddy pictures: http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/AM%20Event/DSC04517.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/AM%20Event/DSC04519.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/AM%20Event/DSC04520.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/AM%20Event/DSC04521.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/AM%20Event/DSC04523.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/AM%20Event/DSC04508.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/AM%20Event/DSC08202.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/AM%20Event/DSC04503.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/AM%20Event/DSC04505.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/AM%20Event/DSC08204.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/AM%20Event/DSC04507.jpg -
From Jalopnik, just moments ago. May we have a minute of silence please... EDIT: I do have a question though, what will happen to the yet-to-be-launched new 9-5?

Nothing special: http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC04440.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC04460.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC04431-1.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC04433.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC04436.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC04435.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC04438.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC04439.jpg Something off-topic.... http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC04437.jpg Lastly, Mini Moke! :D http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC04469.jpg -
^ yeah, mosquitoes are agile aren't they? :P
-
Yep, it's a nice car, and a reliable one at that too! So far, at 65,000km, nothing's broken and nothing feels like it's about to break anytime soon. And another thing is, don't be fooled by the so-called complaints made agaisnt the hard suspension/ride of the car, caused by the runflats. If you live in a city with properly paved roads (i.e. Singapore), then the ride is most comfortable. It feels as though you're sitting inside an agile mosquito, you won't feel afraid when the car is making sudden maneuvers, because the car stays planted to the road. To date, I'm really loving this car! :D

So now, if they are not to post here, where will these people who make the models have to place their threads? Letting them post here will at least give them some acknowledgement that the models actually were the fruits of their hard work, while encouraging them to maybe do even more models as they become recognised, and this will also allow the modders to have a chance to find models to convert and work on. So maybe a sub-forum could be made for them? However, I'm more than sure that the sub-forum will remain cold and inactive, since the modeller pool is small (only 2 so far, right?) , and if any pauses, stops, or completes work, it will be dead. So in my opinion, it's either they post here, or a new sub-forum be made for them. Fair for all?

Anyone saying anything good about those cars should be banned from the forums immediately.

Reviving this thread... Yes, it's a YELLOW body-kitted "sport-edition" van http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC04406.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC04404.jpg Saw this ugly-ass 300C again! It belongs inside the trash bins it sits alongside with. http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC04402.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC04403.jpg Last time I saw it: http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC08001.jpg -

Tool's Mod Factory (20/3/2010 - List Updated)
Homer_Bart replied to Tool831's topic in TDU - Support
Yay, bravo for Tool! :D -
This, from 16 years ago, looks so much better!

^ That said, it's not easy being a considerate modder. Bravo, Tool! :D

What a nice set of rims does to an ugly car.
Homer_Bart replied to zo6dude's topic in Automotive Discussion
The black theme has really made the okay looking Panamera look GOOD :D -
A small bump. Anybody has any suggestions for rims to replace the ones included? The stock one looks too small (it's 21 inches in real life), and the tuned one is too large to be true, though rather 'pimped' enough to make Ludacris happy. But overall, it's still a great mod! :D

The Chinese have this saying: 退一步,海阔天空 It means, if you take a step back, your mind and your soul will be broader. Come to think of it, it's true. You hold off the anger, and later on, you'll be happy that you didn't act on impulse. If you doused their Ram with motor oil, they may break your Silverado's windows etc. So your dad take a step back, and that was the move of a person who thinks before he acts, wise guy! ;)
