  1. Your Antivirus seems to be worse than a virus itself. Dude, nice start :). ZModeler is a commercial product, if there were viruses in it, everybody would know :rolleyes: If your AV doesn't block the ZModeler2 site, you'll find there many tutos to learn 3D modeling by yourself. http://zmodeler2.com/ And the self-help forum of course. http://forum.zmodeler2.com/index.php happy modding :p

File Browser: better MAP integration (auto-fixing) 2. MAP Tool: easier search for missing ids 3. Main: ability to run scripts (to patch map and files) 4. File Browser: a file indexer, allowing to search files and packed files by name --- 09-24-2008 --- I've just attached map-key.xml file to the first post. As one of the files (C6_Cpe.bnk) is bigger than the original, if you don't patch the MAP, TDU won't load this model. - either replace your bnk1.map to fool TDU's control system - or you can manually fix your own bnk1.map by using TDU Modding Tools (MAP Tool or File Browser). Changing names is all about database files : I've made changes in DB_xx.bnk>TDU_CarPhysicsData.xx (where xx is your game language). To do that, use Database Editor (incl. in TDU Modding Tools).

  17. Good luck with GRID sound files ! They are... - humm how to say - somewhat different :) TDU has many samples to cover engine RPMs, whereas with GRID you have one sample, which is acceleration/deceleration recordings !   21. I don't know any software able to open these .db files natively :( As it's a EDEN-GAMES proprietary format. I have been trying to decode contents for a few months... without results. The solution would be to know the key (because it seems to be encrypted text) or to use brute-force softwares. I noticed that TDU files on xbox DvD are like those too.... Did anyone try to contact "Damage Mod" maker ? Looks like he succeeded in modifying game data "on the fly". He could help us.
  22. If your are comfortable with disassembling, you might watch memory contents while game loads its files ... data must be readable at this state !
  23. Unfortunately these id's are not related to MAP Ids :( I think the links are stored in encrypted database files (in DB.BNK) (maybe in TDU exe ?? but TDU.exe didn't change with megapack ) Edit : map-key.xml included

  25. Interesting work ! IMO, major problems actually are : - we don't know all the entries in Bnk1.map file (allowing to change file sizes) - database files are encrypted. Reading/writing them would permit to unlock showrooms and use sleeping car slots. - some file formats aren't obvious still : .btrq, .xmb ... With EXE patching, the best solution would be to disable the MAP control. Good luck.
