  1. Yes. Follow post #182 instructions with files : Koen_CC8.bnk and Koen_CC8_I.bnk After searching it appeared that files somehow contain physics data ! You problem is certainly due to the fact the Veyron files contain the btrq file associated to Edonis ! That would explain why max speed is not the same any more. I'm going to look for more details about that.
  2. Here it is... be cautious with this file ! I haven't tried to tune my S7 yet... only tested from a car dealer for 1.30 minute !
  3. Nothing particular, it seem to be good. Anyway, do you think putting the Veyron onto the Saleen would change max speed ? Stock S7 is @ 230mph (365kmh)... so it's logical the Veyron can't go to 250 mph (400 kmh) unless you go to the tuner. Car stats can't be changed with actual modding !
  4. ... I don't understand what's going on ?! Car physics can't be affected by file swappings. Please try to restore backup of every file you've modified so far, including Bnk1.map backup, then try to replace the S7 by the Veyron ("Edonis") files again. Hope it helps. I'll have to go to bed now - big day !
  5. Limit removed for Saleen S7 files. See my previous post. Modifying limits for Koenigsegg CCR was pretty easy for the tool; it was not the case for the S7. So i had to find manually which map entry corresponds to Sal_S7TT.bnk : I changed sizes to 0 for possible entries and checked when TDU crashes :lol:

Don't worry, I've just found how to replace the S7 by the Veyron :) PLEASE MAKE BACKUPS OF EVERY FILE YOU INTEND TO REPLACE, SO AS BNK1.MAP (Euro\Bnk) !!! - Don't start TDU Modding Tools yet - In TDU Modding Tools "xml" folder, replace map-key.xml by the one attached to this post (unzip it first). - Then process like in post #182, but using these filenames : Sal_S7TT.bnk and Sal_S7TT_I.bnk (instead of Koen... ones) enjoy !   8. Yes, that fools the file protection stored in Bnk1.map file. It's not possible to do it for every file... but you're lucky as CCR files are fully recognized ! I guess I'll have to write a tutorial about that...

    Ok, this thread might be more useful than the one I posted 2 days ago ! I'm always looking for 3d parts in ZModeler 2 format : Alfa Brera front lights and bumper. If someone has full-Zmodeler and can convert game files, this would be appreciated. Why do no create a parts library ? Thanks.

    :thumbsup: thumbs up. There was a need to clarify all these mods as more and more projects should start soon. This new structure really makes searching and projects management easier. Thus, I may also set up here for my first project :)
  14. Hi, I don't know if it's the good place to answer it, so I apologize for mistakes. This topic could help people who need .z3d models or parts from TDU.... as only the Alfa GT model is provided by ZModeler2 free version. I can't afford to buy ZModeler2 for only one game, which is very modding-unfriendly :( Basbas has already given tuning parts from NFS, thanks to him. So I would need the front lights+spoiler from the Alfa Brera if it's possible. Thanks !

  16. We need to look for a better solution for the future. What if someone does want to use many mods at the same time ? Previous name changes can't be kept as DB files will be overwritten :( Moreover, changing the whole DB_xx.bnk file will reset colors swappings, .... and so on Atm, a patcher tool should be created, directly updaty current DB_xx files (according to game language) and changing only concerned names. I'm available for more info.

  18. Some people appear to experience quality losses when using DXTBmp. Opening is perfect, editing with MSPaint also, back to DXTBmp too... but as soon as the DDS is saved by DXTBmp, some edges and borders might get pixellized / dirty :(. So I'm only using Paint.net now.
  19. There's a DDS plugin for Gimp! likely. http://nifelheim.dyndns.org/~cocidius/ Or you can try Paint.net, which I've been using for months. Great and comprehensive support of this format.
  20. Scrat Petit permits to convert 3D et 2D files from TDU to DirectX format (.X and DDS). But you still need a .X editor, or a .X to .3DS converter to view models.   24. Hey great work here ! :) Though I'd want to explain a few facts about my TDU Modding Tools: - MAP Tool is OK, but as seen with the SSR, not every file is available in the list yet. I don't know if this list might grow in the future... unless someone achieves to change every entry and sees when the game is crashing... :oook: - CAUTION with BNK Tool ! As written in the online guide, advanced replacing (smaller/bigger sizes) is worse than experimental ! BNK Tool isn't maintained anymore and will disappear at next version. Hope I'll have the time to work on a new replacing method for next versions ... Anyway, Jeffrey Harris is likely to work on an enhanced BNK Editor.
