  3. Hey great work here ! :) Though I'd want to explain a few facts about my TDU Modding Tools: - MAP Tool is OK, but as seen with the SSR, not every file is available in the list yet. I don't know if this list might grow in the future... unless someone achieves to change every entry and sees when the game is crashing... :oook: - CAUTION with BNK Tool ! As written in the online guide, advanced replacing (smaller/bigger sizes) is worse than experimental ! BNK Tool isn't maintained anymore and will disappear at next version. Hope I'll have the time to work on a new replacing method for next versions ... Anyway, Jeffrey Harris is likely to work on an enhanced BNK Editor.
  4. No I don't think so. PowerISO is a general tool to read disc image files. To convert a car, you need a program that knows how to read files from first game, then to write data for the target game.

  10. No, Detress has only worked on brake sounds. Moreover, no config file has been found yet concerning brake timing... most of the files are not readable even with an extractor.

I'll take a chance to get new sounds from RACE07-the wtcc game : http://www.race-game.org/race07/game/cars.htm If it's like GTR and GTR2, engine sounds are just wav files... perfect ! :) I've already tried with BMW M3 sounds from M3 Challenge (another GTR-based game) ... on a TDU RS4 ! http://syfworld.free.fr/tdu/files/mods/previews/RS4_2.0.mp3

  13. I was just making my mind about this point... I could add this new function to File Browser but it won't integrate well with other commands :rolleyes: (since it should only affect 2db files...) Another solution is to enhance 2DB to DDS converter so that it supports converting all files from a BNK (like Scrat-Petit Converter). And even from a directory. A new GPS mod ? Cool. I haven't tested the last GPS mod (by dc300m02) yet.

  16. Nice... but it's on already on TDU2's wishlist :) TDU1 is Modding Limited, so I think it's not possible.
  17. Hi, I'm implementing a part of Reilsss's color list (great and most complete list) in TDU Modding Tools (Color Editor). But I haven't finished getting every color yet...   18. Don't worry about that. The server has no mean to check whether you have a modified file or not.
  19. It's a pointless rim model. This BNK only contains tiny 3D files without textures :(
  20. Since 1.3, there's a file browser. If you've associated the dds file type with dxtbmp.exe, you may quickly view what texture hides behind each 2db file ;)
  21. Hi, okay, you're right. Modding Tools is not able to convert a set of 2db files to dds. Once extracted they have to be dropped 1 by 1 into the converter ... which is really annoying. Let me look for a solution in TDU Modding Tools 1.4 or 1.5 : - either by giving a folder name into the converter (rather than one file name) - or directly from the File Browser (a kind of "extract-then-convert" function) Thanks for your ideas :cool:
