  1. Thanks, there was a wrong number in reference table. Fixed! I'm releasing new version in a few minutes. --- Released ! Latest bugs should be gone now
  2. There were too many spaces in files, after the // symbol; fixed it with a hex-editor (for advanced purposes, a space is represented by following hex values : 20 00 ). I've kept only one space. This issues was caused by a bug into current Modding Tools. Sorry about that. So I advise you to wait for next TDUMT version before renaming cars again (new version will be uploaded tomorrow, I have to chase this bug). Thanks for your feedback ! And if you need to rename cars that are not supported yet, please let me know :)
  3. Hi again, like I did with Maplecars, I would like you to replace contents of a clean DB_US.BNK with these 2 attached files. Does it work now ?
  4. Thanks for the files ! I've got to work now, see you later :pcpunch:
  5. Thanks, there's a bug in Modding Tools and will provide a patch to fix this soon :) --- Edit: no patch yet, but could you try to integrate these (hopefully fixed ?) 2 files into your DB_US.bnk ?
  6. Could be the same problem as with Maplecars. Please follow the same advice I gave in this thread : http://forum.turboduck.net/showpost.php?p=166384&postcount=41 Thanks.
  7. All you did seems to be OK, would you mind attaching the 2 modified.US files and DB_US.BNK here, please ? I've already answered to this question in Modding Tools thread. Moreover, you'll find explanations in official 1.7 guide.
  8. You only need to extract TDU_Brands.us and TDU_CarPhysicsData.us from DB_US.BNK, to Database folder (or your Desktop). So they will appear in browse dialog, if you select this extraction folder.
  9. Hi, to solve this, please try to run TDU Modding Tools as administrator (right click on TDU Modding Tools executable to see corresponding option), as files operations in "Program Files" folder often need more privileges, for security reasons. I will clear this issue for next version (1.8).
  10. Ok. Thanks for the details, I will try on my game PC this week end.
  11. l o l ! If one fine day someone really makes an Aerox, please also for a Peugeot Speedfight (my first scooter) and an Aprilia SR
  12. Are you getting an error message or something ? Also did you create a custom launch and run it, or just click Launch Test Drive Unlimited button ?
  13. As TDU Modding Tools 1.7 final are available since yesterday, I would like to hear from people about new Names Editor. So that I could be able to improve it :) Just post here to keep all remarks into an appropriate topic. Download at: http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=3739 User guide: http://syfworld.free.fr/tdu/files/Guide-1.7/index.html Thanks in advance. ;)
  14. Oh... maybe ? :D --- Edit : For those interested in changing car names, please refer to this dedicated thread: http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?p=166069#post166069 See ya :)
  15. Hi, - please ensure TDU folder is correctly set in File>Settings.... Does FileBrowser correctly display your TDU files and folders ? - ModAndPlay! is a stand-alone tool able to run patches made with Patch Editor. I'm currently writing about this subject in the guide.
  16. Modding Tools 1.7 released ! Download @ first post ! 17. Lol, but I have to say that IRL I have damaged brakes + discs on my car and the sound is much more freaky than Killall's ;)
  18. Can't wait to try it. I'm sure you can even get a better Audi RS4 sound to make a perfect video. Nice job anyway :)
  19. As I've said before in this thread, if modifying database manually is too hard for you, just wait for next Modding Tools.
  20. Hi, do you know how to use all these tools separately ? e.g general 3D modeling with ZModeler, bump mapping with crazy bump . Have you already used BNK Editor and TDU Modding Tools to view / modify game contents ? Do you know how are TDU files arranged into folders ? (+ many more...) Else, no chance to go without practising and tutorials. You know, modding it's a long term experience and you have to get used to most of these tools before putting them altogether into a real project. I don't want to break your hopes, yet you have to be aware of tons of work modding represents. Why wouldn't you begin at playing with texture mods ? See "Vehicle customization" section to learn how.
  21. Posts in full english please ! ... bande de sauvageons ! ... :p
  22. I agree with Skepsis. In addition, would it be simpler to use one thread for all your projects, since they're are all related to Muscle cars somehow ? Anyway, thanks for your modding effort.
  23. I've said that as my Modding Tools might have distorted or corrupted textures... I'm very careful about quality problems as I want these tools to be really helpful to modders. But if you think the problem is elsewhere, I'll believe you without probs. :)
