  2. The Crew should be presented Today at the E3 guys, so don't miss the conferences (especially the Micro$oft and Ubisoft one :p)!

To sum up the article: -The Crew will offer a game experience close to Driver San Fransico. -The gameplay is rather semi-arcade, accessible, fun and efficient. -The game is located in a USA openworld, with the possibility to travel between NYC to LA (with a reduced scale). (yup Green Room's suppositions were right :p) -Like Driver:SF, the map will be a "Google Map" like. -In "freeride"; player will be free to choose between missions, or challenges. -The Multiplayer will be competitive and cooperative with a player limit set to 8 players. -A companion app (for iOs and Android) will be published -The version our source was able to play was running on X360. -Game should be released end 2013 Also this is a shame, as it must be a tester of the playtest who gave the infos and, as far as I know, any public playtest is under NDA. :cheeky:
  4. Are you writing a database patch or a memory patcher? If this isn't a direct file modification, you should definitely use that instead. :)

  10. Sorry for the lack of update these last weeks, I was very busy in real life (and other stuff :D). Anyway I'll continue to do the TDU:AO, but I can't guarantee the online mode will ever be done, as this is too much work for me with not enough time. :|

  12. Hmm I've found something related to TDU (don't think it worth a thread for that). For me that kind of information confirms my wish to leave TDU licence and play that ivory tower moor. If you are ready to read the atrocious truth about Eden actual's project, read the spoiler. But be aware, that info can destroy any hope you had about TDU's licence.
  13. Would be a nice scenario, but I doubt it could happen with Atari (licence cost and all the stuff). If only they could support modding one day, maybe we could go forward together and build a new TDU? :D

Haha forgot to fill up the description I wanted to put in my first post. :p As Diablo said, yup this option will allow you to go online without using the gamespy check (90 seconds at the start), which is called Gamespy Servermaster I think (I'm a newbe with Gamespy Mechs so don't flame me :D). But freeride and races still need to be reversed. As I said earlier, I worked on the Ace Fix. (well it's not supposed to pop-up when you've traveled 2815 miles, It was only a test to show the real fix I'll make). [ATTACH]18585[/ATTACH] I'm not sure, but I think the police system is client sided, which means it can't be enabled in multiplayer. I'll have a try however, nothing to lose heh? :p
  15. What do you mean by the mail system ingame? The news thing that tells you "A new club member has arrived..." etc? Of course you can post it here (if this is possible to do). :D Also, I updated first post and media post. And as I said, I worked a bit on the database to fix the Ace Level (you don't need to win these intraclub races anymore :p).
  16. Well, first of all it would be really stupid from myself to post fake stuff and then tell everyone 'lolno sry was fake :D'. But I don't want to create any doubt, so here is a fast screenshot I've just done (double screen ftw :D). I didn't think about that but it must be possible as it is for TDU2. TDU1 has so much options so I'm pretty sure this can be done. :) (I accept any request of options for the TDU Advanced Options btw; if this can be done :p ). @Dux: I still don't know how the server soft will be done at the moment.

Didn't thought about that, it's a great idea you have here! :) I spent hours to find interested programmers that could help to reverse the game, well it's really hard to find some. :( (it's understandable due to the difficulty and the fact we have a life too :p) EDIT: ah also I'm planning to remake the whole solo thing, since you'll need to recreate a profile to play online (if we can reverse the server :p) So it means a new starting choice! :D (not definitive of course, I was messing around to find out how to edit the clothes of each character, and well it seems you can even put NPC clothes on it which is quite interesting, don't you think? :) ) And btw, I'll release an open beta for TDU AO soon, I still need to fix some issues and get all the options I can.
  18. Show/Hide Map geometry; useless but funny. :D Residing UI. Very useful since you can even change the gps and gauge position thanks to that. :cheeky: I'm really amazed about the capacities of TDU's debug options. I have almost 80 options of debug, tweak and useful stuff in my list for TDU AO.

  20. imgur: the simple image sharer (can't hotlink becasue imgur only gives you direct link to your image...) TDU Advanced Options should be ready soon. :D (pic showing the light factor tweak that can be done :p) Also I'm currently working on editing ambiance in game, since I can almost edit the .xmb as I wish. (I said "almost" cause I'm still learning from that format to import and export the WAV contained inside but it seems to work atm :) ). No news for the server atm unfortunately. :(

Anyone interested in a fully detailled tutorial for map modding? :cheeky: I'm also working on the TDU Advanced Options, which has for the moment: Instant Hardcore Mode Physics displays (as seen in the video on YT) Map displays (sectors/roads/spot/entities...) Weather debug (display/time control/wind control/...) Useless display stuff (traffic, simbubble, traffic lights) Useless BUT funny stuff (all cars honk, install cheat cars option; hehe this one is really interesting, don't you think? :p) I'm working on at the moment: FX insta-tweak (shadows, particles, blur, fov, diffuse colors, weather edition) Physic insta-tweak (gravity, torque power...) GMEDesigner editor (like the one in TDU2, but getting the one from TDU1 isn't as easy ) AI Trainer reworking again Clothes unlocking reworking (at the moment it does the contrary which is kinda annoying) Free Teleportation I might have spot some stuff to emulate TDU servers but I'm not going to talk about something that might be wrong. :)
  22. Just for those asking about news of the project, I'm still working on it (I didn't have much time and I worked a bit on Battlefield3 modding which is really amazing and time eater :D)
