Well yeah, although Shift is done by a different studio. And these seem to be totally different style games

Source: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/revamped-nfs-series-launches-this-year Shift and World Online seems interesting and Shift's cockpit view looks really good. I haven't liked NFS series for many years, but hopefully these will change that.
