  2. You've seriously gotta question the sanity of whoever the hell they surveyed.
  3. Creative Zen 8gb Sandisk Cruzer Micro 4gb My PC (minus the side vents :-x) ...And my mouse (Logitech Mx518 Optical gaming mouse) I use my camera, phone and a load of other stuff that I cba to put down aswell but that'll do for now ;)
  4. http://i403.photobucket.com/albums/pp117/mistermojo28/Untitled-6.jpg Reformatted and back on Vista despite my best efforts to get Windows 7 to work
  5. This is the only time of day I get anywhere near 2mb.
  6. ;) I've had it about 4-5 months and luckily haven't encountered any of these problems. You could try updating the firmware, have a look online for how to do that. The newer 8gb's come with the latest version already installed. Another thing, how full is the memory on it? You often get alot of issues with them if you cram stuff into every last gb. The buttons do feel a little 'clicky' at times for me, but at least then you know that you've pressed something. Other than that I'm pretty pleased with it, cost £75 I think, which is great value imo.
  7. Aye, that's why I was confused. Once we got a whole month of full Sky for free, we thought we had messed the system up somehow. Turns it was just a trial period that they never told us about. To be honest I didn't miss the full Sky, sure you get alot of channels but most of them are garbage.
  8. I'm not 100% sure what I have, lol. We have a sky box but we aren't registered with sky, so you get the same channels as Freeview (ish, no Dave), but without having to pay anything. To be honest most of the channels are just full of rubbish, I mainly watch BBC stuff anyway. Might be called freesat. No idea.
  9. My family just have a non-HD tv and I'm fine with that. I don't watch a huge amount of TV anyway really, having seen HD I haven't really noticed much difference anyway, maybe it's just me.
  10. I have a Nokia 2630, it's pretty cheap and cheerful but I'm not too bothered, I'm not really a phone person. I managed to make £10 credit last a whole year on it.
  11. PC for sure. I know this is gonna sound sad but I dunno what I'd do without it. @ Barb, the PC is by far the best gaming platform (imo) :P I can see why you would prefer a laptop though, when/if I go to uni it would be alot more practical, whereas having a half-decent gaming PC would not.
  12. I don't really like iPods; although I have never owned one so I dunno why. Practically they seem very overpriced and iTunes is a bit of a bugger to use having tried it myself. I use a Creative Zen 8gb which is perfect for me. An 80gb iPod would be completely useless in my case, but great for others, it all depends on your needs. The zen is light and compact but has a nice sized screen and surprisingly good audio quality, I can't really fault it. Having not owned an iPod I can't really judge much, but I just don't feel I need one and they're too expensive imo. My 'media' player was the same price as a 4gb iPod shuffle when I bought it.
  13. I'm on Toucansurf, which I have to say are terrible. (Toucan, Tiscali, and TalkTalk are all basically the same thing, so I sympathise with you macd) Frequent internet dropouts, latency spikes and they now have a thing where during peak times they block certain ports, meaning I can't use Steam (and therefore half my games) during said times. I doubt my ISP is gonna change anytime soon cos the rest of my family seem fine with it.
  14. I'm inclinded to agree with you, there's no way I'll be able to get a decent panning shot in a week with my camera. However, I have a fair amount of panning shots taken recently which I won't be able to enter.
  15. Agreed, those are really good. I've always liked the light-stripe-thingy but never had a chance to try it myself. I live ages away from a decent motorway, and I doubt my camera has shutter-speed/exposure time settings.
  16. Looks pretty decent. As long as they don't end up overcomplicating it, it could be good.
  17. Well I like it, it takes a fair amount of skill to take a picture of something as boring as a chimney and turn it into a great photo like that. Don't mind me, I'm just rooting through the photos in this thread, there's some really nice shots here. I've just got some working batteries for my albeit crappy camera so I might post something in the unlikely event that I get a good photo out of it. MOD EDIT: Please don't quote images. Use a text link, Thanks!

  19. Exactly, interpreting things differently is what makes threads like these fun, and lets people express themselves more creatively instead of feeling restricted to a particular elements within a photo. I don't have an issue with enforcing the rules, I just feel that it should be a competition of who can take the most creative, original and eye-catching photo, not a competition to see who can focus the most on the given theme.
  20. Well, the idea was that the path draws your eye towards the tree. To be honest it seems like people are getting too focused on the theme and not on the photo as a whole. In the past any photo was fine as long as it had the theme somewhere, now people are voting for photo's purely because it is more focused on the theme. I don't mean to upset anyone I just felt it needed saying.
  21. Thank you both :D I went for Car Freak, I love the contrast between foreground and background ;)
  22. You might be thinking of Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance. It's pretty much Supreme Commander with an extra faction, new units, new maps and all the problems on the original fixed. Can't wait for the new one, Forged Alliance is by far the best RTS I've ever played.
  23. Sorry but...what? Edit: Ninja'd, lol
  24. http://i403.photobucket.com/albums/pp117/mistermojo28/085.jpg This is the best I could manage with my crappy camera. Image info here
  25. Reaper for me, love the contrasting scenes and colours ;)
