  1. +1 If they keep Oahu, then, to me, it will be just like Forza. New cars every now and again. But, you have to drive the new cars on the same old roads. It doesn't make it that interesting. I know I would get bored eventually.
  2. Well yes, he is entitled to an opinion. And I'm sure he has one. I think that rfact that he simply doesn't like it is what he was trying to explain. And that is fine. I do believe that there may be more people who don't like they Veyron than there are people who do. Junk is not a good word. Junk is an expression, yes. But, when you say a car as solid as the Veyron is junk, then you run into trouble. Other places that would be just fine. But here, every single member has at least some sort of interest in cars. So we know that the Veyron is certainly not junk, but is often disliked.
  3. Yea the typical Corvette driver seem to think they own the parking lot or something. I am ok when people do that, so long as it's a good distance from any other cars so that they won't be in anyones way.
  4. Yea I would actually prefer riding in teh Ford Crown Victoria's that frequent taxi use here in the states.
  5. No, it wouldn't. The Veyron would leave the McLaren behind. The Veyron has something like 350 more hp, AWD, and like 4 turbos. The McLaren wouldn't stand a chance actually. But the McLaren certainly does handle better and is significantly lighter so it would probably win around most road courses. And it's not exactly junk. It's one of the best automlbiles in teh world in terms of quality and luxury. You can think it's ugly, or pointless, or useless, or whatever. But it is certainly not junk lol
  6. Yes. Bugatti actually had an even faster Veyron that was supposed to come out this year but it has been delayed. They are not sure they want to build it. It think it was going to be called the Super Sports or something like that. It had 200 more hp than the regular Veyron and was tested (by Bugatti) at 278 mph. I thought Bugatti was never interested in breaking the SSC's record, so maybe that's why they didn't build it. Either way, it's still more than capable of more speed lol. But McLaren is still better.
  7. I hope you have a terrible birthday. ...and die
  8. Thanks guys, I appreciate it :)
  9. I like my wheels, but I like the ones that come on the Tahoe LTZs better lol I am saving up for some at the moment. I should have them on sometime this summer.
  10. This is it. The moment you've all been waiting for. I finally posted some pictures of my truck with the HALOs and LEDs. I even took some fresh pictures tonight to make up for lost time lol. *look at the 2nd pic down! You can see my pussy's legs! This is her currently, she's at about 4,900 miles now :) Again, sorry for the 3 month wait on these, work keeps me busy lol. Enjoy :D
  11. If he wants to say how great the F1 is, he can go for it and not be in the wrong. Like Diablo said, it's N/A engine is fantastic. But that was just stoopid of him. I don't know what he is trying to accomplish here.
  12. Many people have a problem with the looks of the Veyron. I don't, but I am one of only a few people lol. You can think it's ugly, or think it's pointless, or whatever. But you cannot say it is junk, because no matter what opinion you have of the car, that statement remains incorrect.
  13. McLaren boss calls Veyron "junk," claims Top Gear race with F1 staged by Noah Joseph (RSS feed) on Apr 13th 2010 at 3:32PM Ron Dennis with the McLaren MP4-12C – Click above for high-res image gallery When you've been responsible for as many Formula One World Championships and devastatingly fast supercars – including the new McLaren MP4-12C (pictured above) – as Ron Dennis, you're entitled to speak your mind... and for others to listen up. The executive chairman and part owner of the McLaren Group, Dennis has earned a reputation for his outspoken opinion, and this time directed his criticism toward the venerable Bugatti Veyron. In a recent interview, Dennis characterized the Veyron as a "piece of junk" and "pig ugly". Why don't you tell us how you really feel, Ron? The speed guru went on to allege that the race staged by Top Gear between the Veyron and McLaren's own venerable F1 supercar on the streets of Abu Dhabi was exactly that... staged. According to Dennis, the McLaren had the Bugatti handily beat on every run, and that the video footage was edited to make it seem like the Veyron was the quicker of the two. Check it out after the jump and decide for yourself. [source: Wheels24.co.za] Here's redvette's problem Hard as it is to believe, he think the Veyron is junk. Most people would disagree, but that is why it's called an opinion. Saying that the Top Gear race was staged is absolutely ludacris to say. If anything, the race would be staged in favor the of McLaren. Yes, the Veyron is a heavy, heavy car. But, it has all-wheel-drive and 400 more horsies than the McLaren. The F1 never stood any kind of chance against the Veyron. I don't know if it's jealously, or if he's simply that oblivious to the world around him. But one thing is for sure, he has made quit a bold statement here.
