  1. I wonder if certain components are interchangeable. i.e. using G27 wheel with G25 shifter, G25 wheel & shifter with G27 pedals, etc. Because if they are then I would start looking for just a G27 wheel, because I like to keep my hands on the wheel for most things, rather than taking my hand off of the wheel and then having to search for the correct button on the shifter while keeping my eyes on what is ahead of me.
  2. Reminds me of a gal who worked at either a bar or dealership (can't remember which, someone correct me if they know) who thought that her bonus was going to be a new Toyota, but she misheard and was actually awarded a new toy Yoda.
  3. Installed it, and the only issues I noticed were that 1) The interior camera view is a bit to the left of the steering wheel. 2) The front wheels are inside the fenders a bit too much. Maybe move them out a bit to be flush with the outer edge of the wheel well.
  4. They would just be static images, since (as far as I know) there is no way to create the data to make them move.
  5. The Edonis is in the Pagani shop. They are both "Italian Independents", so they will be in the same shop.
  6. A supercharger (or any other form of forced induction) forces more air into the engine, allowing for more fuel to be burned which in turn generates higher pressures in the engine which then translates to more power. Superchargers are driven by a belt off of a pulley on the engine, creating a distinctive whining noise, whereas turbochargers are powered by channeling exhaust gasses through an impeller, so the only noise you hear is the whoosh of the air being drawn into the engine and the whistle of the blow of valve and waste gates.
  7. +1. I love the things that the patch adds, but the changed traffic gets funky at times.
  8. Seriously? You only waited 5 hours for a response?
  9. But can you put 100,000 miles on a Koenigsegg with only basic maintenance? (Oil changes, change tires, change air filter, etc) Don't forget that the Corvette is intended to be the blue collar sports car. Comparing any Koen to any Vette isn't apples to apples no matter which side you are on. Anyway, in my opinion, the Nissan GTR and the original GT40 (from the 60s) are probably the best performance cars ever. Both are marvels of engineering for their period, and both have some momentous occasions to go along with them. For instance the 1-2-3 finish of the GT40 at the 1966 LeMans, and the GTR turning a lap at the N-Ring in a blistering (claimed) 7:26.7.
  10. Could you upload it to Filefront? the Rapidshare link is down (exceeded download limit)
  11. Not really my idea of great styling, but I think that may just be a first impression. No doubt that as it is around longer and (possibly) more vehicles in the Mercedes line start to look like it I will grow accustomed to it, but if it is only offered with an automatic then it is a total fail as far as I'm concerned.
  12. A nice little novelty to make the small cars seem even less masculine than they already are. wonder how long until china copies the design and sells them to walmart.
  13. It has already been produced. It was a limited run of about 15 cars, and all were sold before they even went into production. http://www.zenvoautomotive.com/aboutus/
  14. One of everything, sooooo, however many cars and bikes that is :D
  15. Try defragging your hard drive and the registry, and clean up any unused files to free up disk space
  16. that is considered a hack and frowned upon here. sorry.
  17. I too would like to know what the conditions are to the new TDU-C, and how I can help keep it running (apart from donating, I already know how to to do that)
  18. man, tough choice. Vette may be quicker, but BMW has more seats so you can carry more friends (if you have any). Both motors are pretty much bullet proof. I've worked on both as well, and they are about equal to work on (BMW has lots more electronics though). The only thing about these cars that isn't equal is that I've been in the Corvette Assembly Plant in Bowling Green, KY (though some would argue that doesn't really count. maybe not for them but it does for me :D) Long story short, I'd take the Vette.
  19. +1 for this. Pretty much all of the Mopars need a better sound for them, but the 6.1 Hemis need a better sound for them more than anything.
  20. that mod is available on this site, the thread for it should explain how easy/difficult the install is. just run a search for road textures.
  21. Right, but if you are just starting a cruise and someone plows into your car, would you really want to go to a shop to repair the car before you could continue the cruise? or even if you are just driving around trying to enjoy yourself and someone decides it would be a riot to total your car, you wouldn't enjoy having to spend your own money to fix damage caused by more rude individuals.
  22. Normally tires that are deflated from hitting a pot-hole are deflated because a belt in the tire has slipped and allowed the air to seep out either through the tread itself or around the bead of the tire and rim. If the rim isn't bent then there is a good chance that the tire has been damaged, and slipped belts on the tire cannot be repaired. The tire must be replaced. Take it to a shop and have them inspect the wheel and tire. They will then be able to tell you if it is fixable or not, and if they are a good shop, they will tell you why. More than likely you are looking at replacing the tire, but unless the tires on that axle are both brand new, always replace tires by the axle (in twos) to ensure even wear.
