  1. I saw it as them saying that since HP was exclusively Lambo, Ferrari wanted TDU2 exclusively Ferrari. With the poor translation, who knows.
  2. Well one of the producers said that one of the reasons is that EA only had Lambos in NFS:HP and kind of hinted that Ferrari wanted exclusivity in TDU2 because of that. I'm still blaming EA :)
  3. When has EA ever decided to be nice? Can you add Lambo to that sig, sorta EAs fault since they had Lambos only in NFS and that kinda set a precedent. Either way I'm blaming them. :D
  4. But, can you imagine how many little problems he's going to find and complain about once he has the game?
  5. Thank You! As much complaining goes on here you'd wonder if anyone would even want to buy the game, personally I don't know how I'm going to get through the next week and a half.
  6. :) Only just saw it posted on the TDU2 FB Page.
  7. OXM just posted theirs: Test Drive Unlimited 2 | OXM ONLINE Hopefully we start getting more english previews soon, getting tired of reading horrible translations. :)
  8. New one from PlayFrance: Premires impressions sur Test Drive Unlimited 2 - Dossier sur PlayFrance Interview on the second page talks about Lamborghini and free and pay DLC.
  9. I just re-read the article mentioning the Lamborghini and I have a feeling the reviewer saw the Lotus Espirit and assumed it was a Lambo, both start with L and it wouldn't be impossible to confuse it with a Countach.
  10. I had nothing running, only installed Windows to play the beta, I'm sure it was just my sub-par video card, at least in my case.
  11. I bet you anything that they are simply going after the consoles. You said yourself the console version looks fantastic while the beta was sub-par. The money isn't in PC games, sure they'll sell, but they're going to make a ton more off consoles. I believe it is, I guess you are right, I'm not big on computer specs so I guess I just assumed 9400m>8800 because of the numbers. [mod edit:] Please don't double post, use the Edit button instead, thanks.
  12. I have a feeling it will be, I was well above minimum specs with everything except my video card and that met the min specs, and I couldn't get it over 25 fps with everything on low and running at 800x600. If the release is the same as the beta there is no way it'll be playable with those min specs.
  13. If all this stuff is such a big deal to you please don't buy it. TDU1 was possibly the most flawed video game I've ever played, but I still play it all the time. For a game to be severely flawed and to still have a very large amount of people playing it 5 years after release, to me means they are certainly doing something right.
  14. Imagine what it takes to record the sound of every car in the game. You have to record the car at every RPM in every gear. That takes a lot of time and you must first have the actual car on hand, which I'm sure is not super easy. The Q7 and Touareg are pretty similar cars, I'm sure with either all you are going to hear at full revs is turbo noise anyway.
  15. I wonder what those red pillow things are with pictures attached, DLC placeholder maybe? [mod edit:] Please do not quote videos, thanks!
  16. It's fully on purpose because the game would not have worked well with it. I would rather not have something in a game if it "sort of worked".
  17. Most are complaining about features they don't get though and I just don't believe Eden would test something, have it work and then leave it out on purpose. It defies all logic.
  18. Then please go do it, honestly I would buy it if you made a TDU-like game and had all the features we want. I just can't stand the entitlement this game has brought. Have we ever seen custom plates in TDU2? Have we ever seen working gas stations? Have we ever seen sim physics? The answers to all those are no. All I see on this forum anymore is people bitching about features they were never, not even promised, but not even told would be a possibility. It would be a whole different ballgame if they told us we were getting this stuff, but there is nothing (at least off the top of my head) that they said they would give us that they hadn't. If you don't like how they made the game, don't buy it, very simple. I'm just overjoyed that they made it at all. This isn't specifically aimed at you, just at all of the complainers.
  19. Here is the thing about DLC though, TDU1 can be bought in it's entirety for $60. The game when new was $40 and buying every DLC car cost only $20 or 1600 MS points. Unfortunately with a $50 game there is less room for DLC, but we'll just have to wait and see.
  20. Since they are so lazy why don't you go make your own game with interior indicators and custom plates?
  21. I think some of it might be that he is expecting a stick shift car to shift as fast as a paddle shift.
  22. Couldn't agree more, there is certainly a time and a place for sim physics, but TDU isn't it. As far as I can tell 99% of what people are complaining about is stuff we were never told would be in, it's just stuff people really want and somehow managed to expect it in the game.
  23. I'd love to use a wheel with TDU2 but I think it would get old trying to walk around with a wheel.
