  1. I can foresee someone who will download the game illegally. TDU1's modding took quite a while to take off, so just be patient and be happy with what you have. If you don't like it, make your own game with Eden's staff numbers and budget. I can guarantee that Eden will do a better job than any of us could.
  2. May I ask why I can hear Tarmac+Tyre sounds while he's skidding on soil? Hmm... More bugs than a rainforest methinks.
  3. All the laptops i've worked on have had loose CPU's. Power will be a problem, yes. As will heat.
  4. As far as upgrades on laptops go, you can only upgrade the RAM and CPU. GPU, Sound and everything else are soldered in to the motherboard.
  5. Shame. He had another bad crash in F1 a season or two/three ago at Montreal, Canada.
  6. It's Tom Clancy's HAWX 2. Just come off the PS3 playing it!
  7. Laptop would struggle with games a little, not as much as I was expecting, but it will struggle. Compatibilty mode makes almost everything slower as the computer has to convert the data to something that's "compatible" with previous versions (Though that has rarely worked)
  8. If I were to decide what the patch would include, I'd say: - Clutch fix (So I can actually have a biting point, rather than an on/off effect) - Engine start/Stop button - Fix the headlight flash at night (Headlights go out for a few frames when flashing) - Indicator auto-cancel fix (Regardless of how much you turn the wheel, the indicators only go off if you quickly straighten out) - Indicator warning light in the cockpit (Just like Live For Speed has) - More of a sensation of speed (TDU1 had this, but I failed to have the same sensation in TDU2 Beta) That's it for now, I don't want to wait 5 years for the patch!
  9. Happy Birthday, Softie!! Have a good'n.
  10. That's a flaw in TDU's braking system. There is no way to remove the "deadzone" of the brakes. If you want to make the brakes less effective, hold the clutch in while braking.
  11. What are the specifications of your laptop? Did you upgrade from XP? Chances are, if you've upgraded from XP, your laptop is pretty poor compared to today's standards. Windows 7/Vista use a different architecture to Windows XP, and is more resource hungry. We don't notice this "hunger" as our latest machines are much faster. Best thing you can do is either dual boot XP and 7 or go back to XP.
  12. CPU and RAM are fine, but your graphics card will struggle on minimum. Might be worth investing in a slightly more powerful card (nVidia 8800GT / ATi HD3870)
  13. Hey. Try not to bump older threads (One's fine, but two are a bit miffy) Have you tried removing your mods? Reinstall the game (Backup your save, first) if you can't figure it out. It could, also, be a corrupt profile. It has happened a few times.
  14. I would imagine Eden are doing runtime tests (if any tests at all) on their servers. Makes no sense at all to turn the servers on on the 8th. Turn them on late Jan, leave them on for all eternity
  15. The thing with MOOR is the fact that all systems need to be syncronised. Offline mode - you don't have to sync with anything, so whatever goes, goes. I would imagine, as CLKGTR said, TDU2 would remember what time of day it was when quitting the game, and would hold on to that TOD until the settings resync.
  16. Chapparel 2J? I think that's american. (It has a jet engine, so I presume it is)
  17. Then we can't help you. If you don't want to buy the game, then you'll have to look elsewhere.
  18. I would imagine it's to help prevent modding from taking off so quickly.
  19. Are there any antivirus programs running while you're playing? (Norton & McAfee are the worst culprits)
  20. Well said. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, regardless of whether it's positive or negative. What's the point in having the word "Feedback" otherwise? Instead of going "No, you're completely wrong you idiot, The Blah blah is actually blah, so get your facts right you stupid arse" (or the like) Just say why you disagree instead of flaming. It's not exactly hard to do. The reason why arguments on the internets start is because some people think they're god when behind a computer screen, and as such, can act in whatever way they feel. So message to all: In future, just be polite and courteous to other members. There's just no point in acting "hard" on the internet. It just makes you look like a complete cock. -- Anyway. Back on topic please, and just because Elder has said a few bad things about the game, don't gang up on him. He's entitled to his opinion just as much as I am. C'mon guys, Common sense, yeh?
  21. The game has to generate a Radial.cdb file every time it loads up, otherwise it'd crash upon start. Make sure you set your files to be visible, or use TDU Modding Tools (Latest version) to automatically delete the file for you.
