  1. It's not that difficult to convert a model to TDU. All you really need to do is figure out what parts go where (IE, door, window, rear lights etc..) It's not difficult, just tediously time consuming. If you start out with the Alfa GT demo pack from Oleg (creator of Zmodeler) You can see what a TDU model involves. Simply find another model, and then merge the parts with the original model, then delete the original model from the finished model.
  2. Discussions about illegally acquired copies of the game are not permitted here. :locked:
  3. Yesterday's TG was the best episode so far, imo. Although. The show was ruined by the sheer predictability of Clarkson's block of flats falling over, being pushed off a cliff, and at least one of them having a disastrous fire. Jazz and I were laughing all though the start of it.
  4. Now that's funny... He told me that TDU2 is going to be set primarily on a European island. I think... If we put all of our combined knowledge together, we could get a vague understanding of what's to come...!
  5. Uninstalling and forgetting about the physics...
  6. There are a lot of unrealised costs when racing, as Loz said. You'll need your car, high octane fuel, track insurance, costs of repairs, safety gear, registration, maintenance, staff costs (who look after your car) Life would get easier later on (If you make a name for yourself) as you'll start getting sponsors who'll fund you small amounts. Then if all goes to plan, you'll get bigger sponsors. You'd need to pour in A LOT of cash to become anywhere near a novice, you'll also need a racing license as well, I think. It'd take a helluva serious commitment to become anywhere near successful.
  7. Thread cleaned. Stop with the bloody off topic posting. Who gives a crap if some mods aren't as good as others. We all have to start somewhere. If you're too far up your own arse to realise that ALL modders try their best with their mods, then release a few mods of your own and then you'll realise it's not as easy as it seems.
  8. Thread Locked. Link Removed Please do not steal other user's mods as that is actually Illegal. :locked:
  9. Run modding tools as an administrator (Right click -> Run as Administrator) Sorted
  10. 1: Download Mod 2: Download Magic Map (Found: HERE) 3: Place Magic Map in your ..\Atari\Test Drive Unlimited\Euro\BNK\ Folder 4: Place Downloaded Mod into ..\Atari\Test Drive Unlimited\Euro\BNK\Vehicules\ Folder (Make a backup incase you don't like the mod) 5: Load up TDU and enjoy
  11. Take a look at Zoqqer's PC Specs. Poor guy can hardly run TDU, never mind with Anti Aliasing. Why don't you test it for yourself to see if the model is any better? Good work, Zoqqer. I like that you've given the option for a custom-coloured fin.
  12. I do prefer the Sierra, actually. Never mind :)
  13. That's a nice picture! Mine's still the old Rossi one XD Haven't been bothered changing it. I have my icons nicely surrounding the "46" logo XD
  14. There's a Sierra Cosworth in FM3... With much better interior. Tis a lovely car though!
  15. Ciao signore. Welcome to T-DUCK
  16. As the discussion has revealed MANY, MANY times, the Veyron is two tonnes of luxury. The SSC Ultimate Aero is a car that's been made to be light and fast. I would rather get from A to B in comfort, rather than get there with a mentally sore back. (Says the guy who has his motorbike's suspension on the hardest presetting...)
  17. God help your start up times! I'd recommend a "Stuff" folder on your desktop ;) Mine's at 1.2gig :p
  18. Sponge

    Help.

That mod is located on another website known as TXPro. Google it :)
  19. copy and paste ;) Copy your \\Documents\Test Drive Unlimited folder over to your new laptop's documents folder. Job done!
  20. Should've got Batman to sort him out. :D
  21. You will need to post details and screenshots of the vehicle's top speed / acceleration attributes. This is to stop unrealistic/cheating physics to be posted here. The download link has been removed until you can post the details in this thread. Sorry for the inconvenience.
  22. Unfortunately, Dear, it's against the rules for xbox games' content to be converted to PC. I'm afraid you'll have to look elsewhere for help. :locked:
  23. I guess GT5 had some funding for Gamespot for "letting" them win... The REAL gamers know that TDU2 is far superior. At the end of the day, GT5 is just another racing game... TDU is an entirely different angle on the car scene. We know TDU is better, Gamespot do, too. They are just corrupted by money, rather than truth.
  24. *Says nothing about the DB level of my PC* haha. I think Jazz is deaf now
