Try increasing your monitor's resolution to the highest available (Most computers are 1280x1024, but if you have a widescreen then it's either 1680x1050 or 1920x1080)

IIRC, the 1.68a requires the megapack to be installed. If you can't get online, reinstall the game, but only use the official 1.66 (i think it is) Patch. If anyone's driving around in a megapack car online, you'll see a default car, which looks like an Audi RS4 with circular rear lights.

Touches are epic for little 5 minute entertainments. Their capacity isn't something to write home about. But for the sheer variation of ways to use it, I'd say they're well worth the £150 new. (For the 8gb, that is)

As far as I'm aware. Saturisation is NOT allowed. ONLY brightness and contrast adjustments are allowed. At least, that's the way it once was

Just a heads-up. The legal screen is there for a reason, however annoying. Besides, it takes maybe 2 seconds more to press the space bar 3 times when the intros load up.

It uses it to confirm that you're using a legal copy, then at random times, verifies that the disk is still in the drive. That's why you can hear a "seeking" noise every so often in your DVD drive

Modders can't fix that. To fix it yourself, you neeed TDU:MT (from Djey) and then all you need to do is select the car you've replaced, then go to "Physics" then up the rev limiter. (Don't worry, it doesn't make your car any faster or slower)

Vista / Win7 is very notorious for drivers failing. I once had a GTS250, but I didn't get the display driver fault. The only thing I had (and still do with the GTX 275 XXX) is all SimBin games (GTR:Evo, Volvo race game etc.) I'd suggest updating the drivers to the very latest, and if that doesn't work, lower your graphics settings.

Yeah, the skyline is eerily quiet ingame. Another quiet set are all of the Audis. They're almost inaudible at speed.

Supermods can change user's names, they can also perform more administrative tasks. Such as moderated post approval, IP lookups and other random things. Basically, supermods are admins with slightly fewer powers.
