Here are my thoughts: -The physics are better, if only slightly. Not as arcade I suppose, I like them. -The A.I. have no earthly idea that you exist, so be forewarned. They will hit you. Hard. -The photo mode is better, I think. I am no expert on the matter. But I hate having to upload my photos to another server. My crappy internet never connects, so I quit trying. -Car sounds seem to be better as well. I quite like the noise the SLS makes. I am also amused by the lack of noise my Volt makes, forcing me to watch the RPM gauge the entire time I drive so I know when to shift. -Making money is hilariously easy. So easy that there is no reason to cheat for money this time around. I actually don't think they could have made it any easier, save for handing you money every time you turn on the game. Oh wait, they do. -If making money wasn't easy enough, if you drive a car few times, you eventually get the performance upgrades for free, giving you no reason to spend the hilarious amounts of money you have acquired. -You can turn the class restrictions off, which makes for a lolafiric time. Just grab a fast car, enter an F class race with the A.I. difficulty set to "professional", and watch the credits roll in. -The auction house is a wonderful place to make money. I don't want most of the cars they offer me for leveling up, so I always put them up for auction. For some bizarre reason, other players consistently bid my vehicles to prices that are higher than their in-game value. I'm not complaining, simply confused. -Cars are even easy to get. Almost any car a person could desire care given to you at some point, giving you even less of a reason to spend your hilarious amounts of money. Zonda Cinque? Given to you. McLaren F1? Given to you. Bugati Veyron Super Sports? Given to you. The list goes on. Overall, I would say the game is more fun than FM3, but we will see how long that lasts.

well here i am. saying that FM3 let me down. how much i love GT5 and the entire series. even recently i posted here that i would probably not buy FM4 untill it will drop in price. however after seeing the photo's posted here the cars that were being displayed i decided to buy the game immediately and so i did. i just got the Limited Collectors edition and i have to say that even though i only had around 1 hour to play the game i really am starting to love it. the physics are far better than the last game and the graphics arent to bad either. so that means i will be posting a lalalala ton of shots here like i did and do with GT5. but since i kinda grew up with cousins playing on the PS3 i was called a crazy person but in the end all i care about is driving a beautifull E39 M5. and thats all a car lover would want. so stay tuned here because i will start posting my shots here soon but i would also like to hear about your opinion of FM4 before that times comes about.

Ladies and gentlemen! You may remember me asking people about this and now Forza Motorsport 4 is out and it's showtime! Remember, this is the first time and the rules may get changed as the game progresses. These are mostly taken from Tim's GT5 contest, with some of my changes. Suggestions are always welcome. Time to start blasting around that test track! :D Rules: *Everyone knows the basic idea, right? Taking a reasonably priced car around the Top Gear Test Track (Full Circuit) as fast as possible. *Everyone has to have the same car performance-wise. No upgrades allowed. If we get a TDUCk car club up and running later on, we might be able to use upgraded cars from the club garage aswell. *Rolling starts are allowed. Standing starts are too inaccurate, though there's nothing wrong with you doing one, if you wish. *You can do as many laps as you wish. *NO DRIVING AIDS except for automatic transmission AND ABS if you wish. *CLEAN LAPS ONLY! If you get a triangle next to your time, it will NOT be accepted onto the leaderboard. *Post your best time in the thread in the format [username] | [time] | [transmission MT+/MT/AT] (MT+ being manual with clutch) ->For example repyhrepus | 1.44.454| MT+ ->If possible, you can also post a picture to prove your time. Prizes: *Winner of each round gets to choose a car for the next week's challenge. We're BACK. Season 3 sign up is RIGHT here. The rules have changed to make it more fun and to try and increase activity! Read carefully! Rules: 1. This is teammate racing, teams will be chosen at random before the season begins, I think it would also be cool if we all had team names, so please come up with one after teams are drawn so we can have the standings set up according to team name. 2. We will do 1 race a weekend, race will take place at 1PM GMT Sunday. 3. CAR REGULATIONS: The goal is to build an S-700 DTM-style race car. You must buy one of the cars on the list below, and tune it up to that limit. The race each week will be roughly around 20-30 minutes. Racing tires must be on your car as well as a full racing roll cage. 4. Tuning is allowed, and more than welcomed. You will have to tune to stay competitive in this competition! 5. Points will be awarded according to finishing position, and how many people join up. An example is below. If 10 people race, the winner will recieve 10 points, 2nd will recieve 9, 3rd - 8, and so on - until the person in last has 1 point. 6. You MUST have a team colour scheme, the liveries may be different, but you have to run mostly the same colours - Front splitter and a wing are necessary so it looks like a real race car. 7. Everyone is required to make 1 pitstop (your car MUST come to a halt during pitting, no speeding through the pits!) 8. The car MUST be AWD. 9. Only sign up if you are very interested, your teammate will be relying on you to show up every week so you have a chance of winning the season. 10. Rough racing/cheating (such as intentional wrecking or spinning) will result in points removal, and banning from races. I hope you are as interested in this as I am! I've just read about this and I am actually laughing at the joke of what M$ is doing here. Yes it's Turn 10 also but for the most part MS turn the screws as is evident from so many things via their games. So here's the thing. The Season Pass costs 2400MSP and get's you 6 DLC packs + 1 bonus Muscle car Pack (US rejoices, everywhere else *meh*). Now if you bought the packs for FM3 you know that 2400MSP would be 6 packs for FM3 as they were 400MSP each. Aha, M$ can't have that now can they, nope so the DLC packs are now going to cost 560MSP which as you already know means buying a 1000MSP should you have 0MSP in your account as do MS give an option of what to buy in regards to points? Hell no they don't. Ok so that 2400MSP (actual price 400MSP DLC) get's you a 30% discount (not really) off the 6 months DLC at the new (rip-off/gouge) price of 560MSP. Plus of course the extremely wanted Muscle Car pack. Yeah I know. I guess people are getting stupid these days though as EA did it and people I assume bought it so others are now thinking they will do the same. But wait! What if you bought the LCE version? The LCE DOES NOT INCLUDE the Season Pass only the bonus Muscle Pack!! So there you go, you now get to pay for something you don't have and have no guarantees of liking. Excellent. :rolleyes:

So, out of the all new cars seen so far, what ones are you looking froward to the most? (Ones all new for Forza 4, not ones from past games) MR2 (AW11) - No reason why of course :cheeky: Honda CRZ - Love the thing, and hopefully Forza will let yo dump a real engine in it! Audi RS2 - Always liked them, from a time when Audi were cool! 77' Aston Martin V8 Vantage - So smooth looking, and got some nice power!(DB9 engine in it will be interesting though!) BMW Z coupe - Funky design, and actually a really good car! BMW Z8 - Like with the M coupe! 57' Ford Thunderbird - Will be intresting to see this going round the track!

So the other evening I came up with an idea. I think GT5 had some kind of a TDUCK SIaRPC and I found it cool, but I didn't have a PS3. Now when FM4 is coming out (and it has the TG test track), a similar contest could be hosted for FM4. The game will have car clubs, where you can share cars. This way the contest cars could be shared over the club and everyone would get the same car. Basically the winner of the weekly contest gets to choose the next car etc. So if I started hosting something like this once the game is out, would anyone be willing to take part in it? :hmmm:

Seeing that Forza's release is less than 2 months away, it's time we start wondering when we're going to see the demo. The FM3 demo was released about a month prior to the release of the game itself, so will we see the demo at the end of this month? It seems apparent that the Alps track will be included in the demo - along with the 599 GTO, but we have yet to see, and Turn 10 has yet to announce any kind of demo in the works. Speculation! It seems completely possible however ;)
