  1. Found this thing online and thought it was pretty interesting. You go through a few pages, ticking the boxes which most apply to you, your lifestyle habits and health and it'll produce an estimate on your life expectancy. At the end it can also bring up suggestions on how to help improve your health/life expectancy. It does require you to enter your email to create an account (which is a one step thing, took like 10 seconds) in the very last step, this as far as I've been able to find though by reading their disclaimers is only to verify you as an actual person so they can anonymously collect your results to add to their research. Anyway > Living To 100 Life Expectancy Calculator I got an expectancy of 82 years. I know the average expectancy here in Australia is something like 80 years. Feel free to share your results below, let's see what the average life expectancy of TDUCk users is :p
  2. If you were around here back when TDU1 was still thriving you'd at least remember the title of this game... I just had the idea that since then a lot more of us are now mobile with our own transport so we could try doing this again with real life photos instead of TDU1 screenshots. Concept One person picks a theme/challenge. Everyone else then has to get out there in the real world and take a photo that matches the theme but also features their car/bike/self in the photo. Rules * Photo must show/include your bike/motorbike/car. If you don't have either of these (seriously) and want to play along then you can feature one of tduck's cousins in the photo, or perhaps a large model car if you have one. * Theme/challenge must be legal (not break road rules, etc) and not put anyone in danger. * The person who posts the theme must be able to take the photo themselves. * If a week passes with no entries, the theme chooser can pick a new theme if he has taken the photo, otherwise anyone can pick a new theme. * New themes must be posted in Size 3 Bold font in this thread. Choosing a Winner This all depends on how popular this game is (how may people participate in getting photos). The way I see it there are 3 options: 1. Fast: First person who posts a matching photo automatically wins and immediately picks the new theme. 2. Classic: Person who chose the theme chooses the winner after X days. 3. Vote: Photo with the most Likes wins. I'll start off with #2 and will re-evaluate after a couple of entries. First easy theme to start us off: Road bridge Your car can be on the bridge, or the bridge can be in the background. Old pics in your album are acceptable (new rule), but ideally the challenges here should inspire you to get out there in the real world and take new pics.

  5. Basically, what cars have you driven in your lifetime? It could be a rental car, a friends car, your parents car, even your own car, list it and write your impressions of that car. If you have a picture or a video, post it! 2008 BMW 328i: Its my moms car and she let me drive it one day cause she had to borrow my truck to buy furniture. It is a real good car, the steering is very tight, it accelerates quite quickly and its very fun to drive. 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 1500: This is my truck (obviously) and what can I say but its like driving a tank. No feel in the steering, brakes suck and handling is much to be desired. But the best thing about it is the V8, it makes a very good sound and it makes the truck feel deceptively quick. !929 Ford Model A: This is my families project right now. I drove it once before it stopped working and its way different to anything else in the world. Its a hassle to start up and get going. A big problem is that if you want to shift up or down, you have to depress the clutch multiple times to switch gear. It is good fun though to drive along on a Saturday though
  6. As Elektro went down the annoying route thought I'd go with this one to try and make people think of the good things during these difficult times :) Basically post little thing in life that you enjoy. Try not to go off topic, and keep it serious ;) Post from 1-5 things in each post. 1. Snuggling up with Shar, nothing better after a rubbish day at work. 2. Cold Pillow, nothing better than finding a bit at night. 3. Medium Steak, nice and pink with a bit of blood 4. The adrenaline rush of flooring a performance car on a runway. 5. Standing back and looking at something you have done (like re wiring a house) and feeling good about yourself and what you have achieved.
