Fullmetal Alchemist creator Hiromu Arakawa will launch a new manga series in this year's 19th issue of Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine on April 6. It is the fifth of the five new manga series that the magazine is starting this spring.

In the 17th issue on March 23, writer Mitsuru Kaga and artist Hirofumi Katō will debut another new manga series set in Kyoto. In the coming-of-age story, a boy is drawn into the world of sushi with a girl who happens to be a sushi chef.

In the 16th issue, Major baseball manga creator Takuya Mitsuda will launch a boxing manga on March 16.

The titles of the above three new manga series have not been announced yet. Arakawa ended her Fullmetal Alchemist manga in Square Enix's Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine (pictured at right) last June, although she did draw a side story in September. Similarly, Mitsuda ended his Major manga in Weekly Shonen Sunday last July.

The previously revealed new Pokémon manga, Jun Kusude and Mitsuhisa Tamura's Pokémon RéBURST, will launch in the 15th issue on March 9.
