Adding 2Db files to BNK?

is it possible to ADD files to BNK rather than replacing? i just started modding TDU yesterday and does custom car models really need to rename the textures to match the original texture name?

All the names must stay the same, look at any mod's internals and you'll see.

 

The game needs to know what is what ;)

Or, rather, the game needs to think it knows. If it registers the same file name, it should "recognize" it as that file, unless it is too big.
