A different locations why have it set in Hawaii again ?

I think that TDU 2 should be set somewhere different rather than keeping it the same because otherwise it is just an upgrade rather than a new game.

 

I think that it should be set in somewhere like Greece and you can get on boats with your car and go to the different islands and drive around.

 

Or it should be set in Japan as there is lots of racing that happens there so it would be a suitable setting for the game.

i agree. they make honolulu seem like a dump. they definitely need to find another island location. somewhere like sicily or corsica. and this time they better create some more buildings. i'm tired of only six different buildings recurring in the same pattern. it's like watching an episode of the flintstones where the scenery never changes

I personally wouldn't mind having Hawaii again, provided that it's a heavily revised version of it :) . The setting is really nice and provides us with lots of different types of roads and situations. Also the developers have a nice head start as they already have a good basis on which to begin!

 

As you say though gogators43, the repetitiveness of the surroundings became extremely obvious over time. I wouldn't want TDU2 to be located somewhere else and still have the same repetitiveness, rather to have the game on the same island but with more variation and detail to the content.

I was thinking something like FUEL. Well minus all the death and destrustion =D

 

Have like a suburb, a city, a country/farm, a jungle... etc in like a "State" about 1000sq/miles or something similar to FUEL? imagine the driving.... and the fuel bill! =D

Wait thought of a place, it's perfect!

 

I think the UK would be awesome! Go for some city driving in London (could for some street races) crusies out of town and into the backroads of Northern UK (Where the UK rallies are sent, on teh country farm landm lots of mud & dense trees) then maybe unlock the ferry to the norh and south island?

 

But that has everything covered TDU 2 has been claimed to have on offer.

 

Supercars & off road cars.... it's the perfect match! Maybe the "race track" could be the Top Gear test track!!!
