Need Help with rx7 13b rotary idleing sound

Hey all im making a rotary idle sound that all of us are looking for but im came across a problem i get this misteris ticking type noise when the idle runs any help would be great cheers ill keep you posted :):thumbsup: added also when i run the idle in audicty it runs sweet but in the game i get a ticking ever now an then

That ticking, I think, is the sound looping back. From what I know of sound modding (which isn't much!) The sounds have to be exactly the same length. 2.01 seconds for a 2 second clip would crash the game/produce a silent sound I believe.

 

Try zooming all of the way in, and adjust the length of the modded sound to fit exactly on the original sound

Yeah Epic Sponge is right, just load the original and your modded idle sound in Audacity then on the original open a new autio track, paste your modded one in it and chop it/extend it to the same length as the original, then delete the original audio track and export the modded sound. :p
