Laptop wont read any CD's....

I was wondering if anybody knew what was up with my laptop. basically i put a cd in the disk tray and then close the disc tray and my laptop makes a noise and then does nothing, it doesnt read the CD, itunes doesnt show that theres a CD in and when i go to my computer it doesnt say theres a CD in either, can anyone help :confused:

Could be bad drivers?

Could be that the Drive is Faulty

Could be that the laser is faulty

 

I would go with my first instinct and say that you have bad drivers?

DL fresh drivers from the manufacturers website and reinstall.

If that fails then you need a new drive.
