UV Map

Dunno how well I can explain it but here goes.

If your model already has texture maps then when you click the Surface>Mapping>Edit UV then on the options have the Keep Current Mapping ticked, but make sure Disable Current Map is not enabled, otherwise you wont be able to move anything. If it doesnt have a map already, then have the Generate New box ticked. It will then come up with a map from the viewport you choose (in the options further up).

To edit the mapping, on one of the viewports change it from whatever it is (Top, Left, etc) to UV Mapper, and then edit the map as though it were a model.

Hope that helps:thumbsup:

To use a custom texture, add it to a material (if you dont know about that I can explain), you can create a whole new one, but if you are new to all this, might be easier to modify one of the ones that is already on the car. Just make sure the texture has the same name as the one you will be replacing with it in the bnk.;)

I'm not too sure about doing that, its just that zmodeler tuts are not that great at explaining it and yeah, I'm new to UV mapping so I don't really have any idea about it :) . If you aren't busy with one of your awesome projects, do you think maybe you could help? I have MSN if that would be any easier.

Cheers
