Can't connect

Today i bought the original version of TDU.

But, i can't connect.

Either it says that there is a problem with my connection (internet works perfectly) or it says 'connecting to TDU server' & it stays like this 4 ever.

Where's the problem?

Im not exactly sure what it is, so I'll get my fiancé to explain it to you... He's just typing it out now.

You need to delete the CDkey and Addon.txt files in your application data folder. (Various threads about it are on here)

You'll then get asked to input your legal TDU key into TDU when you start it up again.

Don't see a appdata folder, i have W7, could that be a problem?

Thats coz its invisible, don't worry about that lol. WHen you open up your 'personal'folder click on the top bar and type in \appdata at the end of it

Then type "appdata" (without the quotes)

That's the wrong folder. xD CDKey is kept in C/ProgramData/Test Drive Unlimited

My mistake. It changed for windows 7.

Copy that into an explorer address bar (windows explorer, not IE :p)

I have same problem, so I deleted these 2 files. I open game, write CDkey, choose new online profile and it shows me "new version is available, would you like to download it?" or something that. But i have 1.66A version!! :confused:

Nah type it here, just incase anyone else has the same problem (which I'm sure there are plenty, unfortunately) they can read this thread and learn what to do, instead of someone telling different people multiple times :)
