TDU 1.66a + MP Win7 Issue

The game just seems to hang after you've driven to a race and selected it. After that none of the buttons on the screen work. Only escape can be used to quit. Maybe, just maybe I missed something in the controls, but don't you just select race.

 

Problem: 'Race' cannot be selected in-game, upon visiting a race event. I have 1.66a + Comm. Patch installed and the Mega Pack.

Where did you get the game from?

I bought the game at Goodwill for $5, because I'd played TDU on my PS2 and liked it. Knowing that PC had avatars, 50+ more cars, bikes, and mods made me push my Dad into buying it.

 

We both love it, and the game seems to work, but coming from the tutorial you go to the first race and you can't race, switch cars, or exit via mouse... I feel stupid probably because the keyboard is used to start the race.

Won't the mouse work to click Start?

Nein (No). It does nothing.

Open up the controls, and then assign a control to "Confirm" (Even if there is already one)

but mine is 1.45

its not from "confirm" key

i think its from the game itself
