TDU2 Tip from GMDestra: Before entering a competition, consider stocking up on cars in that class. You can switch cars between events, so make sure you're using the optimal car for each race! Cars tuned for acceleration will excel in shorter races with tighter turns, whereas cars with a high top speed will dominate the races with long-distance straightaways! Make sure you have options!

You mean to tell me that cars with great acceleration are good in turns, while cars with great top speed are good on long straights? Gasp!

I think he's talking about "championship" events - where you have multiple races in sequence. I'm guessing you can change cars between races from what's in your garage, but you can't buy new cars in-between races.
