[PC] Checking files?

OK, After Months of scraping well earned cash together and selling numeral titles, I reach an impregnable wall.

 

I will start up my game in the usual fashion(Click the short cut) and be greeted by the uplauncher.

 

After establishing what type of connection I have and finding out that the servers are online, I run into the problem.

The Launcher appears to get stuck at "Checking Files, Please Wait..."

 

This is infuriating and disappointing at the same time.
