Doctor G - AC 289/Shelby Cobra Daytona sound

 

My previous Daytona sound was a total disaster so I tried to make a better one.

This is a mix of Daytona samples (

) and AC Cobra samples (

), so it's quite a fantasy sound that you can use on both cars.

Note : Under 2000 rpm, you don't hear any sound. It's an issue of that bnk (also in the defaut sound) and it's not something that I can fix (I would have to remake it with another bnk). But if you keep the clutch pressed the transition will goes fine.

WOW!! This is great (as usual). Pops are awesome and off gas sound is better than your previous one. Definetly an improvement!

The one little thing - I found it a little quieter than you first, a little lower volume. Just it.

 

About

Under 2000 rpm, you don't hear any sound.

No problem at all. As you said it's just a matter of pressing the clutch, put it in neutral and it's all fine.

 

About your first Daytona mod - It has an amazing idle sound and an angry edge thats is very good. Just, as you said, hyper-saturated at high rpms and transitions and off gas sound issues (first version).
