Xbox Live Connection Problems

okay, i just got a new router yesterday, and so i connected my connection wire in the router as the same place as i placed it on my previous router, and so, im having a new IP Adress, and im having trouble getting that, and ill try to get the Error code next tiem for you guys, but yea, i think its my IP Adress that i couldnt find, where do i find it? im such a noob on XBL and so on...

Robbie u need to go to the system menu on the 360 dashboard and go to network settings and then onto test xbox live connections then test ur connection that should help !

oh well, thanks, but ive tried it, ive tried it, then it says that the IP Address is wrong, then i get the more info thing and get my error thing, and what do i do next about it then?

your new router may not be compatible with XBL so use your old one
