Cannot Extract Files "Access Denied" Error

I seem to be having a massive problem with downloading mods where it comes up with a series of errors with the main one catching my eye which is "Access Denied". Looks to me like there is some kind of Admin Permission issues although there should not be. I already have the 2 Island Mods I believe called "Coconut Island" and "Surfers island" from a while ago which means it can't have been a problem from the beginning and I've tried everything I can think of to fix with no luck including attempting to download both those mods again to see if it was the other mods at fault with the same problem... Any input, advise or a fix will be greatly Appreciated.

Image Below for an example issue of what I got from downloading that Island mod I already have...

Are you trying to extract from a .rar file directly into the game's directory? If so, just extract the files to any normal folder that definitely isn't protected (an easy option is your standard "downloads" folder). Once the files are extracted, manually copy/paste them to the game's directory (or whatever subfolders they belong in) and you should be golden. It might ask you to give admin permission during that copy/paste process. Interestingly, it still might give you an error that essentially says "could not replace file in destination", in which case you'd need to add another step: deleting the files being replaced individually first, then simply copy/pasting them from where you extracted them to in your downloads folder.

Overall that approach should work, unless I'm missing something.

Thx that was good advise! For some reason it was playing up first time round but after I presume a PC Restart that fixed? It managed to work fine and have downloaded and used several mods with minimal issues : >.
Incase anybody else runs into this issue I used the C Drive (where the game is) and created a new Folder outside all the TDU stuff just called "TDU TEST" (But can be named whatever) then put any mod files I downloaded into that folder then Extracted into that folder then for example if there was a Folder like  Euro - Bnk - Level - Hawai - Area 0, I'd just make a copy of that folder for a backup (incase of issues) then simply Replace the individual files into the folder to overwrite. Is a bit tedious on bigger mods or if having to use multiple but if it works it works haha.
Just be sure not to forget to BACKUP FILES XD
There maybe a better workaround but that's the best way I could do it. Hopefully this helps anybody else having same issues : >
