When you "crop" them and srink the size of them, do you sharpen them at all or not, as this helps wonders with the reducing, but maintaining a sharper picture :)

i don't. because sometimes, when i sharpen the image it destroys the quality. sometimes the pixels would be visible. i guess it's because i play on high settings already.

crap that.

i tried sharpening the images i just posted and they turned out great! :D

it's when i sharpen an image that i took in low settings that you can see the pixels.

i'm kinda brain dead today. just had an exam in trigonometry this morning.

aye, sorry for the confusion.

i promise, next bunch of pics will be sharpened! lol! :D

haha ;) shaprening does do the pictures a lot of justice, also, do you brightene them up? I use photshops + 10 brightness to make mine as game-like as possible, tho I've only done this with my last lot of pictures :(

i do brighten my pictures. i use picasa2 because it's easier if you want to fix your pictures quickly. i click the "i'm feeling lucky" feature which automatically fixes the color and lighting of the pictures. then after that i add a glow to the pictures. it's like artificial HDR, i think. lol! then after that, i sharpen the images.

EDIT:

btw, picasa2 is a photo editing software too. i also have photoshop cs3.

Did you sharpen them cos there's a bit of pixelation, but apart from that brilliant style, I like the way you have a normal "pose" picture and then the car underneath drifitng :D

The Nissan drift is the best in my opinion :D

i didn't this time. i played around nvidia control panel and set my video card configuration to max out in performance rather than quality just to decrease the stuttering ingame. when i tried to sharpen these set of pics, they turned out bad. so, now i've learned that i'll set it to quality when taking pics in photo mode. :D

Excatly what I do :)

But I find, where possible, clciking 'let the aplication decide' makes a much better picture, rather than forcing it to x 16 AA of something ;)

aye. i just discovered something. even while i set it to "performance" rather than quality, my video card can handle x2 AA. when i set it to x4 AA, "HERE COMES THE LAG!" i really have to change my card in the not so distant future.:pcpunch:

i had it "let the application decide" before playing around nvidia control panel. :p

i'm going to upload some newly re-painted Koenigsegg CC8S pics. i was cruising on Oahu last night and promoting TDU-Central. I got this guy really interested in joining. I hope he joins! LOL! :D

may i ask what res are you running your game at? and with that graphics card how do you run TDU with HDR lol?

man, this is going to be embarrassing for me. my graphics card is a nvidia 7300gs 512mb. i don't run HDR in TD:U because once i activate HDR, the screen goes black. lol! my resoultion, really embarassing, 640x480.:o
