I would LOL if moDding wasn't so complicated to me.

 

its easy :cheeky:

download it, (say a vehicle model)

go to C:\Program Files\Atari\Test Drive Unlimited\Euro\Bnk\Vehicules

then backup the original somewhere then just copy the new files :thumbsup:

 

if i confuse you im sure theres a tutorial in the modding section somewhere ;)

Lets use your example. To replace the RGT with the GT3 RS you copy the name of the RGT file and rename the GT3 RS with the RGT name. Before you do that back up your RTG file by just copying it to you desktop or anywhere you want.

yep, make a folder called "exterior backups" or something to put the original files in

then paste into the vehicules folder the GT3RS files (making sure they have the same file name as the ones you just backed up)

ok So I have a few questions.

 

1. Whats Djeys Magicmap? and how do I use it?

2. How do I get Sound Mods?

3. Which RGT file do I replace? The BNK or the other one?

4. Is the file Must_vol the Mustang Gt Convertible?

1. you find it for download under most/all mods, its a new rule

2. in the sound mods section of the forum,

3. in C:\Program Files\Atari\Test Drive Unlimited\Euro\Bnk\Vehicules replace RUF_RGT.bnk and RUF_RGT_I.bnk (for the actual body and interior)

wheels go in the "rim" sub folder in the above location in the RUF folder, the RGT rims are RGT_F_01.bnk and RGT_R_01.bnk, i recommend some rims from racers-hardware.de (if the rim you use doesnt have 2 different files, just change the name for both, if you ever replace a rim and theres only 1 file, but the mod you downloaded has 2, use the rear version which normally has "R" in there somewhere e.g. RGT_R_01.bnk)
