Amazing though how it was written off - absolutely no damage to engine, chassis, suspension, brakes... all bodywork. And considering it's one of the last ones made it makes it worse :(

Why is it a write-off for just damage to the bodywork then? That can be fixed quite easily, be the looks of it it's just the front bumper, that'll cost next to no money to fix. Such a shame :(.

Bumper, 2 front 3/4 panels (Only dents in, can be repaired but insurers want replacements), ditto with 2 front doors, rear bumper, exhaust system, wheels and 1 suspension strut.

2007 Subaru Impreza WRX STi RB320

 

No ofense but I totally prefer the new WRX STi than that RB320, its more agressive looking and much more beautiful. Just dont like the hatch one tho

I think he thinks the RB5 is the RB320 and the RB320 is the new STi.

 

EDIT: Oh, it just looked like the front bumper was damaged. Why couldn't it have happened to a new STi instead :(.

Yeah, but from what i remember before the new STi came out they were going to do a saloon version of it and if my memory serves me right i saw a non-wrx new Scooby saloon in a Subaru dealership on the way to Santa Pod last year.

Hmmm just saw one of the new STis today. White with the not-so-great-looking 5 spoke rims. I honestly don't think the new STi looks that bad, just don't look at it from the rear

It doesn't have the rough look of the old Scoobys. Then again, neither does the Evo VII/VIII/IX/X have the rough look of the IVs, Vs and VIs. Or the GTR the old, rough look of the R32 and R34. I guess it's different times, eh?

yeah. but the thing is that all those cars had 4-wheel drive and were used for rallying. (not sure about the r32-34) those cars were able to come out of the factory and go on a trail. maybe thats why they were awesome
