Purchasers of Shinki Kitsutsuki's first manga volume based on Nihon Falcom's Eiyū Densetsu: Sora no Kiseki role-playing game will be offered a chance to obtain an animated promotional video. The video will be included on a DVD in a limited-edition special set. The set will feature an exclusive player's card, a DVD with the promotional video and a "sound comic" (slide-show-style reformatting of the manga with a soundtrack), and an original drama CD. The first Sora no Kiseki manga volume (pictured at right) is shipping on Friday.

Nihon Falcom had listed "anime" in its planned expansion of the Sora no Kiseki brand during the current fiscal year, which will end in September of 2011.

Xseed Games plans

to release the Eiyū Densetsu: Sora no Kiseki game trilogy under the title The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky on the Sony PSP console in North America.
