The February issue of ASCII Media Works' Dengeki G's Magazine is announcing on Monday that a 3D original video anime adaptation of its Baby Princess project has been green-lit

. Sakurako Kimino (Sister Princess, Strawberry Panic!) created this project about a family of 19 sisters — from a newborn baby to a graduating high school senior. In the novel version, a high school senior named Yōtarō thought he was an only child — until he met his real mother and discovered that she has 19 daughters. He ends up living with his "true family."

With input from the magazine's readers guiding the storyline, Kimino has written five novel volumes since last year. Natauki Mibu illustrates the novels. In addition to a home video release, the Baby Princess 3D Paradise 0 (Love) anime will be screened at events.

Takayuki Inagaki (Rosario + Vampire, Desert Punk) is directing the anime at Studio Comet. Yuuko Kakihara (Heaven's Lost Property, Stitch!) is writing the scripts, and Yumiko Hara (Mayoi Neko Overrun! chief animation director) is designing the characters and overseeing the animation process . Kusanagi (Dojin Work, IDOLM@STER: XENOGLOSSIA) is handling the background art, while Graphinica (Seikon no Qwaser, Strike Witches 2) is handling the color coordination and photography.
