Not only this but he's a stand-up guy too, as unlike what is the usual for online personas, we actually got to meet, and you know how some people are unlike what they think they show us when online? I've been keeping an eye on Route909 and The Crew mentions on the social sites and have been itching to post more about them but I am currently working hard away on and off this place so it's been hard to do so. I think it's a bit unfair to say they will get boring, if a number of them are freely open to players vs players then there is no script and that's typically where the most fun comes from. I am very keen to see if some of these basically reflect the Mafia style playstyles we used to (try) and do. It would also be amazing if like GTA Online they released some sort of Mission editor, as if we've seen one thing from GTAO it's that people are hell of a creative when given tools to play with. :cool:

As for The Crew, yes definitely check it out as the team behind it are formed from a large part of the original TDUteam and our recent playtest showed that it was certainly heading in a very promising direction. Don't worry about that it was a comment that was taken wrongly and something was lost in translation, the PC will not be be capped as our man Dan found out when he played the game at Ivory Tower itself last month. :) BTW you should check out the thread with the videos from Gamersyde to see this game properly in action. :D

It's basically PGR in new clothes so no need for that kind of support really.

IGN got a nice exclusive yesterday with these two gameplay videos but unfortunately in typical IGN fashion they are compressed really badly and then throw on youtube compression and you get a less than glamorous look. Despite that though, what is clear is how great this game looks in the lighting department and we also get a nice impression of the sounds we can expect, some sound a bit off imo in that the collisions sound a bit more like plastic hitting together. One tiny thing I like is the way the clock in the Maserati seems to be working and that transition from night to day is surely one of the best examples seen in a game, and not every change will be the same as the clouds and such are dynamic in their generation I believe. Whether that means it's more a technical achievement rather than a game will remain to be seen. Yeah the season is hotting up and like you said it is very good to see the Fords starting to reach up the top of the pack again, all we need is for Menu and the other BMW's to pull more of their weight and the Championship will be far more open. :cool:
