    The high traffic areas are the main areas of the forum that somewhat make this place what it is, a TDU dedicated (for now) community with mods for that series. And you've done more than enough for this place mate, it's not fair for you and a small amount of loyal others to give for the many who enjoy this place. Here's hoping to the future with TurboDuck! :duck:

    Ok, once I've posted the latest Pap of the Week on CarPaps I'll look into removing the code that's supplying that network.

    I believe that to be caused by a select few ads that show at the top, if it happens again please right click on the Ad or if there is an 'Ad Choices' logo right-click on that instead, copy the link and paste it here. Thanks. I'll keep tabs on it myself and remove the code for the offending ad server if I can catch it.

    It could be a fictional setting of course as it is their first title by themselves but one thing's for sure, a fair amount of the original TDUteam is behind it and that can only be better than TDU2 right? No Atari telling them what to do wrong and such. It's going to be interesting for sure.

    Great find mate, has a MCLA crossed with TDU2 flair about it's looks imo, thanks for sharing and here's to hoping that the team is of the mindset to do things right and to take their time doing it. It does look like the USA I agree from the street signs and traffic and it looks like it's from a city so here's to wondering where it is set unless they've been cheeky and went for the 'Big Island'. :D

    It just seems a bit strange to go on about how they are doing so many calcs per second into where the wheel tread and it's grip is going at a particular split second when if the first game is anything to go by this matters not a bit as the cars basically turn from the centre and are easy to save when they do actually step out of line.

    I never bothered with the first game, I played the demo and that made me not want to touch the game so no I'm not really surprised to find GRiD 2 will be the same. I do find it ironic that someone who spent a load of cash on a top quality wheel and pedals set is defending the direction that the game is going and may in turn affect others in the future of doing the same. I don't mind arcade racing games, they are fun but what I don't like is the fact that these titles and franchises have been born from series that catered to all. That's what's annoying, it seems that making games "more accessible" is the only way to go these days even though adding options for those who want it wouldn't be that hard to implement.

    In a game like GRiD it makes sense that people wouldn't use that type of view, look back at ToCA and such and it was a different story. Shows how gamers today are getting dumber and just want their games to play like Outrun. It's only about winning these days after all, no-one seems to like the chase or race itself.
