Actually Shift 2 if EA leave SMS to do their thing will be a hell of a game for all types of player. Those guys were involved in GTR, GTR2 and GTR Legends so the past reputation is definitely there and if you've seen the track list never mind the car list, the game has a good chance of taking on the role of the console racer to have.

GT5 has a level of detail above and beyond even those other games, it is somewhat the bar to reach in cockpit detail, though Shift isn't far behind and those interior reflections on the window are a really really nice touch! However Forza 3 and Shift show it can be done and is much appreciated when done so. Part of the fun of using the cockpit view is the immersion, seeing in the game what you see on Top Gear and in videos you watch in youtube adds to the experience massively.

The one slight thing annoying about these vids for me is the gauges not being as they said they were going to be. Watching that MP4-12C video and having played MCLA, NFS Shift, Forza 3 and of course GT5. It seems really sort of cheap looking these days and even though it's a relatively small thing it's worse in the fact that I was told back in June [2010] that they would be done. :( 2 weeks to go either way.

I thought he mentioned NFS HP as an example of having one or the other. IE they have Lambo but no Fezza, they [TDU2] have Fezza but no Lambo.

They should have stuck with the 3 over here also, btw note the colour orientation of the cars then look at the flag of France. ;) Anyway yeah stuck with the 3 thing as subconsciously it would imo remind people of Top Gear and have them thinking about having their own Clarkson, Hammond and Captain Slow experiences. :D

The official website for the Lotte no Omocha! television anime series began streaming a 129-second promotional video on Thursday. The anime adapts the manga of the same name by Yui Haga (Baka and Test - Summon the Beasts novel illustrator). The story begins when a boy named Naoya (Rina Satou) is brought to a magical world to be a candidate for the harem of the princess, Astarotte (Rie Kugimiya). This year's ninth issue of Kodansha's Young Magazine is announcing on Monday that a second television anime series based on Nobuyuki Fukumoto's gambling manga Kaiji will premiere on April 5 at 24:59 (effectively April 6 at 12:59 a.m.) The second anime series will air on the NTV network three years after the first anime aired. The Joost website had streamed the 2007-2008 television anime series in the United States. The manga also inspired a 2009 live-action film with director Tōya Satō and Death Note star Tatsuya Fujiwara as the title gambler. That film has a sequel in the works for this year. The anime's release format, launch date, and other details will be provided in the magazine and its official website in the future. Since 1983, Hirokane has been depicting the corporate rise of a Japanese executive named Kosaku Shima. With every change in job title the main character receives, the manga title also changes. The manga began under the name Kachō Shima Kōsaku (Section Chief Kosaku Shima), and the two current series are Shachō Shima Kōsaku (President Kosaku Shima) in Morning magazine and a prequel called Kakarichō Shima Kōsaku in Morning's sibling publication, Evening. The editors of Comic Rush magazine announced on Wednesday that the magazine will move from print to a completely electronic format. The March issue, which just shipped on Wednesday, will be the final print issue from the publisher JIVE Ltd., and the first all-digital issue will debut on March 1.
