From what I have played so far this game is a lot of fun and there is a lot going on, I'm playing on Normal and the enemy is still getting a couple of missile hits on me and I'm only just done the 2nd mission. The presentation, music and radio chatter is top notch and humouress also, they all take the mickey out each other often. Not tried online yet as I'm mainly playing the storymode right now. :) I know Mass Effect is out tomorrow also but I would definitely recommend you get this in the near future as it is a great game with stunning visuals and really frantic gameplay. The black screens are due to the images and content being loaded rather than preloaded then shown. If you give it a minute or 2 they should appear.

You cannot custom paint Ferrari's or Maserati's in TDU due to them being stuck up their own behind and feeling that only official colours are allowed for some strange reason, though you can take it to a normal paintshop and paint it an official colour, note that this also allows you to change your interior also! There are other cars you cannot paint either such as the CLK-DTM. Ask your friend if he is connected via a router and if so tell him to run the Connection Test in the System blade, if his NAT shows as Strict or Moderate this is the problem, it has to be Open for smooth online play. Save your money, don't buy at release, wait 2 days and I bet you'll be able to get it pre-owned or on ebay for about half the price. EA games are always great for Gamerscore whores to get a quick 1000 but for a good few, the excitement usually dies once they play the thing.

You can only reset your car to turn your engine off in the 360 version, there is no left menu option or button config that allows you to actually switch your engine off.
