  1. UPDATE:// 17/12/16 – Filesize limit for images has been upped to 3MB. A number of you have mentioned how the pics you take exceed the 2MB that was previously allowed, well that's been changed to a figure that should allow you to be able to post your pics more freely now. :p Thanks.
  2. Uhoh, hass is angry if he's bringing out the big DRIVECLUB guns. :para: Even the pic is pure anger itself!
  3. This section is the right one for your topic! Please mine the language though. Tantalus is one that is pretty hard to beat for both best and worst I think. The Island Tour as you say is cool because of what it allows you to see of the environments and the roads that you may not have seen before or hardly venture into. The challenge that takes place on Keleoke (sp?) Pass I think it's called is pretty awesome with its high-speed run to the twisty section and then another high-speed final part to the finish. I would have to look at the game again in order to pick less well-known examples and find those that I really enjoyed or hated with a passion, but those ones I have mentioned would be the easier choices, and the ones I fondly remember for different reasons.
  4. What game is that? And you can always pretend-Forza with GTA V if you have it. #thinkoutsidethebox
  5. If people cannot be bothered to see what is there in front of them that's not my issue. :cheeky:
  6. Dang, you see what you've done you THREE!! I will make thee pay for this indignation!! :dwarn:
  7. Well make sure once that is bought that bladdering takes place very shortly after.
  8. Porsche Pack Vol. 2 / Red Pack Console Info Console players of Assetto Corsa will be happy to know that Porsche Pack Volume 2 is heading for submission this week and that news has finally broken about the PS4 and Xbox One ‘Red Pack’ too. From a post made on the official console blog by 505 Games Community Manager, Antonela Pounder, we find that the second Porsche Pack is going into the ‘check it doesn’t explode the console’ submission process at Sony and Microsoft this week, meaning a release now for early January looks certain and not the proposed “December” they mentioned earlier. (boo! j/k) Porsche Pack Volume 2 is a real favourite with us here at turboduck, as it comprises of some truly iconic Porsche racing history in the Porsche 962c in both long and short tail varieties, and the 911 GT1, along with some equally delectable road going metal of the 911 GT3 RS and Cayman GT4. The latter of which is regarded as one of the best handling and driver thrilling cars in its price bracket. Assetto Corsa – Porsche Pack Volume 2 Porsche 911 GT3 RS Porsche 718 Spyder RS Porsche Cayman GT4 Porsche 718 Boxster S Manual Transmission Porsche 718 Boxster S PDK Porsche 919 Hybrid 2015 Porsche 911 GT1 Porsche 962c Long Tail Porsche 962c Short Tail In light of all the Porsche hype and excitement, it has been easy to forget about another of the stellar DLC drops for AC that came donkey’s ways back in July to the PC – the ‘Red Pack’. Proving you can never have too much of a good thing, the console version of the ‘Red Pack’ will release at the same time as Porsche Pack Vol. 2!! And no it’s not just full of Ferraris. Being Italian themselves, Kunos Simulazioni are very proud of their heritage and also that of their country's most famous marques, and the Red Pack demonstrates why in superb form. From the stable of the Prancing Horse there is not one, but TWO Scuderia Ferrari F1 cars in way of the 2015 season SF15-T and the 2013 V8 powered F138, along with the 488 GT3 racecar. Where there is a Prancing Horse there is usually a Raging Bull snorting angrily and in the virtual space this is no different, as the one and only Lamborghini of the monstrous Aventador LP750-4 SuperVeloce makes itself welcome onto the list. Another Italian legend of motoring history is Maserati, and they are well represented as to why with the early classic Formula One racing 250F 6C and the 250F T2 12C. Modern times is given a place too, as the (imo) gorgeous GranTurismo MC GT4 racecar makes up the last of the vehicles to come with the pack. Assetto Corsa - Red Pack Ferrari SF-15T Ferrari F138 Ferrari 488 GT3 Maserati 250F 6C Maserati 250F T2 12C Maserati GranTurismo MC GT4 Lamborghini Aventador SuperVeloce But wait, there’s more! The Red Bull Ring of Austria is also included in all its authentic laser scanned glory, increasing the track selection by another notch in what is already quite an impressive line-up. [gallery type=rectangular" link="file" size="seven-post-image" ids="5062,4923,5084,4905,5044] What about Private Lobbies? We knew you would ask this and thankfully so did the AC squad so we’ll just let them tell you. Don’t worry… They’re coming! ? Private lobbies are a big job, but the team are working incredibly hard to bring them to Assetto Corsa. While we don’t have a release date yet, you can expect them in the new year as part of a major update. More info soon! There is a promise of more info, a review round-up of the past year and an insight into what 2017 will bring by (I do like to tease them) Marco Massarutto and we will be sure to share that as it becomes available. 10. [headline]the banner contest #82[/headline] http://turboduck.net/img/tbc/tbc.jpg[/img] Two in a row for the man from Ozzmonty as his striking red Porsche 918 Spyder sitting in the pits took the top step in tbc #81. 11. Happy FREAKday TDUF mate! Hope you have a good one and get totally bladdered! :drunk:
  12. Low grade interiors are one thing I really hate (yes this is how strongly I feel about it along with crappy sounds) now seeing in modern games. When Forza, DRIVECLUB, Gran Turismo, Project CARS and others reproduce them properly it feels kind of cheap when others don't.
  13. Two of the things I really liked about TDU was how the rear view in the cars was the rear view. It still makes me laugh thinking how looking behind you in the Maserati MC12 shows you nothing but a carbon fibre backing. And second was the way you could look around the interior of the cars even so much as being able to look up the sky or glance through the sunroof of many vehicles. One of a handful of games where if you hear a plane above, you can actually look up at it. I bet a number of you when doing laps round the race track tilted your view to see the plane taking off at the airport at some point. :D I enjoy little details like that.
  14. That is the thing though between all of those that have come: they all do things better and worse than one another and none have been able to gel it all together. -- TDU had the experiencing the rich life done well -- Midnight Club LA had impressive customisation (I want to change the profile and brand of my tyres again damnit!) -- NFS has the cool police chases -- TDU 2 added weather and functioning roofs -- Forza Horizon brought on some stunning visuals, decent handling and nice sounds Now if only we could get the sum of all of those parts into one game eh?
  15. Exactly. I believe they could call their new game Test Drive Unlimited 3 but not make it out to be a reboot like NFS did by using the Most Wanted title again for example.
  16. Yeah it's for future TEST DRIVE titles, the previous releases and the TDU games are still Atari's. I don't think there's nothing stopping Bigben from putting in O'ahu or Ibiza either unless Atari have stipulated that or something? :oook: It will have to be from scratch though if they do.
  17. There always looking for investors and with the TDU name it could bring some in or it could make it worthwhile to some other team to split the cost on a new TDU. It's going to be interesting seeing how this project takes shape that's for certain.
  18. Porsche Pack Vol. 3 Switch With not much time left until the final Porsche Pack for Assetto Corsa becomes available for those on PC, there has been a late announcement about a change to the contents in regards to the Porsche 911 RSR 2017. Only recently revealed itself, the 911 RSR 2017 is a totally new car compared to previous iterations and in something of a first for the 911 range, it is mid-engined! Naturally Kunos want to faithfully reproduce it in the best way possible and so they have taken the decision to remove it from Porsche Pack Volume 3 so that they can spend more time on it. The 911 RSR 2017 is not an upgrade of the previous model, but a totally new car. As we want to ensure the best experience possible from this amazing model, we unfortunately need to spend a bit more time on it, meaning it won't be released as part of the Porsche Pack Vol. 3 DLC next week. They know this will come as a disappointment to many but they are not just removing the car and leaving an empty space to be filled later. No, they are replacing it with the modern 911 Turbo S that they say a number of their community have been asking for, even so far as to enquiring why it was missing in the first place. [gallery type=rectangular" link="file" size="seven-post-image" ids="6335,6336,6337,6338,6339] As for the 911 RSR 2017? That will still come to Porsche Pack Vol. 3 as a free upgrade in January so it is not being lost. I think it’s likely that the team have tried to get the car ready for its release but unfortunately it just hasn’t reached a point they are happy with and have taken the tough decision to pull it. Announcing this so close to the release reflects this to be more than likely and it is sort of refreshing to see them choose to do this. Plenty of others would release it as is and work on fixing it up later after all. Hopefully players will see this in a good light and not in some ‘they are not delivering what they promised’ rubbish as they could have delayed the whole pack to until the car was ready. 19. Ubisoft Special Weekend = 7 FREE Games Ubisoft must really enjoy being 30 years old as they have just put on an impressive SPECIAL WEEKEND giveaway offer for a very LIMITED time, where you can get yourself 7 games for FREE!! Kicking off back in June, Ubisoft generously gave away a free PC game every month as part of their Ubi30 celebrations, and now if you missed out on any they are very kindly giving everyone a chance to acquire the whole set over the next few days. And we’re not talking bottom of the biscuit barrel offerings here either. Oh no, not at all. Included within this selection is The Crew, Assassins Creed III, Beyond Good & Evil and Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon. Top titles in their respective genres and the other three aren’t horrible either. The Crew was available from back in mid-September, an offer many of our visitors seemed especially interested in for obvious reasons. What hoops and soul giving do you need to do in order to be able to take advantage of this I hear you ask. None really, just sign in with your Uplay account at the Ubisoft Club website between December 15th -18th, accept the terms and that’s it! There is plenty to play here and the amount of hours that will be provided from all of it makes it well worth the few minutes it will take to set up an account if you don’t already have one. Unless you’re one of those who deems clients like Uplay and Origin the devil’s spawn, there’s no reason not to get involved. So go get them now!
  20. Wow hass, those last two in particular are superb! The detail on that close-up shot is something else. :cbme2:
  21. Buddy you need to be downloading your shots and saving them to your own PC as they seem to be getting lost when being remote linked from the Forza site. :( Grab them then throw them up on our Gallery. You've been plenty active and will have a good amount of slots available to use. :) Now for the pics. That courier Transit is going to have no excuses for any late deliveries with that sort of power, bet it's a real hand full though. Top S1 livery, I know the type you are going after and I think you've nailed it down well with what you've ended up with. I can see why you went with the Focus though I would definitely swing towards the Ferrari if a change was to be done as it looks really aggressive with the pose you have it in. The Atom is a great all-round shot and exudes just pure driving fun imo. And for your latest. With the way you have it setup, to me it looks like Jesus enjoying some high-speed driving over some tropical coloured seas with a glorious white sandy beach in the distance. :insane:
  22. Oooh now you have a nice thing going with these because of the desaturation you are doing. Gives them a realistic yet moody look. Such a good style. And these are in no way mediocre Rass. Please post up more!
