1. Just watched the final episode, it was a lot better than most other episodes. Not bad. Bit odd that the trio didn't do anything together though. All in all season 1 has not been great, it's had some mediocre episodes, let's hope season 2 will be better.
2. Thanks guys  And yup, that picture pretty much sums it up. So if anyone needs me I'll just be over here waiting for death :bye:
3.
I know I'm not the most active here, but I'd be interested to join if I can get on (depends on the times of course).
Of course you're welcome! @superhyper Have you got any idea on a time and date?
4. Except all that requires money (and a fair bit of it) :p It seems the only way to get there is through heists. I tried for ages to get through the setups but either no-one wants to be part of the setups or they end of messing up, every time. Frustrating. :hmmm: PS If anyone wants to do some heists I'm available... (PC)
5. GTA Online is great fun, it's really good for drunk gaming too lol My only complaint is it's so over complicated now, I know nothing about the CEO thing, or VIP... or working for people, or motorcycle clubs, or basically anything after heists. Wee bit confusing.
6. You have to think of Dirt Rally as being what Forza Motorsport is to Forza Horizon. It's the serious simulator, while the Dirt series is arcade.
7. Yup I'm well aware of corporate identity, pretty much every car company has one, but for some reason the German marques seem to think this means Ctrl+C + Ctrl+P. But the similarities between each model of BMW has got nothing to do with the fact that I think it looks bland. It's just utterly boring to look at. Even Audi's famously boring designs are more interesting.
8. It just has that generic some-sort-of-BMW-from-the-past-decade look to it. A6 Avant is much nicer looking, the Merc ugly as it is is at least more interesting. Why Lexus have not made an estate from the IS or GS yet I don't know. :(
9. :bump: Holy bananas batman! If you like Half Life (if ) then you'll like this. Hard to explain without giving too much away but suffice to say it's creepy, atmospheric, confusing, mysterious. It'll terrify you without relying on cheap gimmicks.
10. From one extreme to another... blaaaaand. And for some reason the rear quarter window looks... wrong.
11. Interestingly enough that's about the same torque that you'd get in Audi's 4.2 V8 TDI. In a petrol. Jeeeezus.
12. That actually looks pretty damn good, mobile games have come on so far. And that environment definitely has the Eden Games feel to it. I'll have to give this a go :hmmm:
13. That is stupid quick. It is also an ugly brute. Even though Audi's design is a bit... done to death... I think I'd rather the RS6.
14. I'd expect an E3 announcement and teaser, and I thought it was likely to be a Q3/Q4 release this year. Maybe they're giving themselves some extra time incase they need to push it back or stagger the release like NFS 2015. I'm totally up for another NFS. The last one was a massive improvement on the recent NFS titles though it did have some issues (disconnected and crazy physics), but I'll not judge this until I see it/play it myself. I think they've finally dropped the formulaic, repetitive, low quality, annual releases that EA are well known for, so this could be good.
15. So happy to see this. where have Simbin been?! GTR was pretty amazing in its day, hopefully this will live up to its predecessors too. Either way it's nice to see another title in the racing game genre. @Diablo completely agree. And it is as simple as that. You run the game, you're presented with a simple screen that asks "What type of player are you?" Casual/Hardcore. That's your base, from there you can choose driving aids/AI difficulty. Simple, no?
16. I haven't played any of these games yet but I'm dying to give them a go, looked like a lot of fun in your videos. :btup
17. I still have a place in my heart for my white Audi A3. It sounded a bit like a diesel (what up Eden?), it wasn't fast, probably not a great choice, but I liked it all the same.
18. Oh man, freakin' 10 years. 10 YEARS. Some time around 2007-2008 (ish) I was browsing YouTube, on my first personal computer, and I came across a video of a driving game. It was literally everything I'd dreamed of since I started playing driving games like Gran Turismo when I was maybe 5 years old, back on our PlayStation 1. Cockpit camera, massive open roads, loads of cars, beautiful scenery, even a Sims-like character and home customisation, it was my dream game. My memory is a little fuzzy now but I'm 99% that video was actually one of Diablo's, with his link to 'tdu-central' in the description. Well I bought the game, or rather begged my dad to buy me the game, initially for the PS2 in fact as that was the only console I had at the time. Shortly afterwards I started lurking on TDUC, it was full of useful tips and resources that helped me find certain dealerships and tuning shops, etc. At some point (well, 8 years ago) I signed up to the site and met a bunch of great people who invited me to play with them, so I saved up my monies and got an Xbox 360 and the 360 version of TDU. It was so much better. The graphics and all the other improvements of what was then the "next gen" version were fantastic, but even better was the ability to play my favourite game and meet like-minded strangers from all around the world, people of all ages, and of course cruise with the wonderful people I'd met on this site. It's still a great highlight from my teen years, and I'll never forget the fun I had nor will I forget how kind and welcoming people were, even though I was a pain in the ass! :p I've got some amazing memories that I wouldn't have had if it weren't for this place. In fact this site helped me through a really crappy time in my life, and I'm so grateful it exists. I've made some great friends here, even though we've all grown up, our lives have changed, and we're maybe not as close as we once were ("the MSN era"), I still love you all. In the present day things have changed a bit. TDU is still alive, amazingly, thanks to some very talented people. However TDU is over a decade old now, even its long awaited and (IMO) disappointing sequel was released 6 years ago, a lifetime ago for most games. Turboduck has changed with the times, which is the only way we can move forward, and we've experienced the joys and disappointments of Forza Horizon, various Forza Motorsport games, The Crew, and numerous other games that have yet to fill the void left by our beloved Test Drive Unlimited. However we'll continue to struggle on, waiting for our next TDU and enjoying what we've got in the meantime, because thankfully due to the efforts of Diablo and the rest of #TEAMBLUE who came before me this site is still with us today, 10 years on. I don't know what the future holds, but if we give it a bloody good go, maybe turboduck can be around for another 10 years. I hope so. Happy birthday TDUCK.
