  1. Try the stock rims that came with the newest Toyota MR2, the RHD version. The rims look extremely close to those NSX rims, and don't have any logo in the center so they're interchangeable if you want them to be.
  2. Yes I watched the video, and after that I tested the actual sound so I'm NOT just basing this on what was seen in that video. Plus, no ingame HUD was ever displayed in that video. I realize that you spent hours making this sound, I'm just saying that it needs a second version for those who DON'T use the auto installers and choose a different slot for the cars. Please understand that I tested this sound on a car that has a redline of 8000 in the physics, plus I'm using the digital HUD from the Mustang GTR. The sound stops rising at 6500 and just gives out the same sound from 6500 to max RPM. During high speed acceleration this produces a monotone effect where you only hear the max RPM sound at each shift and you never hear the RPM rise at all. I don't use any auto-installers, and I don't use anybody's physics settings but my own, and I try to make them as realistic as possible within the limitations of the game. Which means I DON'T stop the redline at 6500 when the real car is supposed to go beyond that.
  3. While you may not see a licensing issue on the surface, there still could be one or more reasons why specific cars don't appear in specific games. You've got to remember what's been happening in the car industry and with the world economy since TDU1 was made. There's been a ton of company buyouts and corporate restructuring since then, and there's also been a ton of "exclusive" licenses given to other game creators, most notably Polyphony Digital and Gran Turismo 5. Sony is infamous for paying out ridiculous sums of money for exclusive licenses, and Sony owns PD. The world economy being in the tank is a HUGE factor on how many cars can be licensed for any one game. If a developer only has so much money to devote to licensing, it's going to limit how many cars get licensed. There's also the unspoken issue of certain car makers not wanting their car(s) to be seen in an "unfavorable light" against the rest of the market. Ferrari is notorious for this and was the main reason for their cars not appearing in many racing games over the years unless the Ferraris were made the best cars in the game. There's also another issue, visible car damage. If TDU2 has visible damage, that will instantly put off many car makers because again, they don't want their cars to be seen in an "unfavorable light". If their car is too easily damaged in a game, it can effect sales of the real cars. And finally, one final thing......the continued nickel and diming of the average gamer to pay for DLC, DownLoadable Content. If they only came out with so many cars at first, then they fully intend on charging $5 or $10 per car for future DLC addons. So basically by the time you're done buying all the cars they intend on releasing for the game, you've paid out 4 or 5 times what the original price of the game was. That means a $60 game actually ended up costing you $250 or more......
  4. This really needs a version that goes to 8000 or 8500 RPM, stopping it at 6500 really limits the installation and realistic physics choices of those who don't blindly use auto-installers.
  5. To be honest it looks like a BMW M3 E92 from almost any angle, just more proof that Chrysler's designers have lost all imagination.
  6. The original 2DB file that you extracted and converted to a DDS file, find that and select it with TDUMT's converter. It won't overwrite it, it will make a new one.
  7. I had to go back and test this car again because I didn't remember seeing that when I tested the car for new cams, but it's there. It's a bug somewhere in the windows, because if you roll the window down the side mirror becomes attached again.
  8. That would be the max suspension height variable (NOT the ride height) in TDUMT or TDUPE, lower the number and the tires should come out of the ground.
  9. I see no point in any modder stopping TDU 1 modding until TDU 2 can be modded, and given the sheer amount of stupid blind fear in developers these days, I doubt that TDU 2 will ever be moddable at all, especially to the same level as TDU 1. And you know that even if it is possible, TDU 2 modding will be deliberately gimped for at least the first year, just like TDU 1 modding still is by most of the modders. If you're running the Steam version of TDU 2, plan on a constant never-ending barrage of anti-hack anti-mod measures to come down the pipe on a regular basis. It's already happening to tons of other Steam games, no mod is seen as "innocent", they try to stomp them all out.
  10. Check out 2CV's Ferrari 365 releases, he's got some wire rims packed in with those that are very close to what you're looking for. Just rename the files for the AC289.
  11. Is there any way to get rid of the grey'd out squares so I can only see cars that are actually moddable??? I was able to get the Bugatti Type 57 to show up with an XML Editor, so what do I change to remove the grey squares completely?
  12. The usual questions are..... What version of TDU are you running? What patch version are you running? Do you have the Magic Map installed? Which program are you using to change the cameras, and what version is it??
  13. Just check the link in my sig, there's a link at the top of my topic that shows you how to change cameras, pictures included, in English. There's 320 cars listed in my topic, with many more to come.
  14. Will the new version have fixed hand positions on the steering wheel? Because that was the only thing I couldn't get right when looking for cams & IK's, the hands would always be in front of the wheel, gripping nothing but air. RufRT12 Cockpit RufRK Cockpit_Back 300C Hood Chevy SSR Hood_Back
  15. You know that you can set Right Hand Drive cameras with TDUMT 1.15 right? Setting the cam to RHD makes no difference in how the cars handle, it only makes a difference in the mental perception of the driver and just takes a bit pf practice to get used to. Put it this way, every single one of us in "LHD Countries" spent years sitting in that passenger seat as a kid wondering what it would be like to drive from that seat, now you have the chance, just let your imagination be a kid again.
  16. Is there a way to edit the textures on my own so the dashboard and steering wheel isn't blacker than black??? Every time I try I get a zebra-stripe pattern The black dash seems to absorb all light from any direction.
  17. A possible suggestion for a future version of this car, or any other car that has moving exterior parts.... On Tool's BMW Nazca C2 he was able to seperate the pivot points for the doors and windows, that way the windows could open gullwing style, and the doors could open normally without making the windows fly out. Maybe the same thing could be done with the moving spoilers and vents, and still have opening doors in the garage, just permanently attach the windows to the doors and not the body.
  18. I've been without net access at home for the last 2 weeks, so I've been working on a ton more cams, I've got 60+ new cams ready to go along with half a dozen edits to existing cameras, now it's time to figure out how to get it all posted...... OK, the list is now 380 cars strong, the latest update contained 60 new cars and 6 camera edits.... New Cameras..... Maybe the admins can bump that 2nd post down and I can split the list between 2 posts, if that's possible to begin with. If not, I'll have to remake the topic and use the first 2 posts myself.
  20. Update to Community patch version 1.68, then re-install the Evo X mod.
  21. Flow's M3 E92 uses the same cams as Tool's, and that's already in the list.
  22. I like that someone finally decided to bring this car to TDU, but no cams will work. This car is WAY too low for any interior cameras to be viable. I tried all of the lowest, most narrow cams in the game, and most of them were physically outside the car body. The McLaren F1 cam is still too high, even at the lowest possible seat height. If you lifted the car up and back in the 3D space in ZM2 before exporting, you could use the Audi A4 DTM cam set to RHD which would give a perfectly centered steering wheel. In a pinch you could use the Elise or Exige cams set to RHD. The best thing you could do is position the car based on the Zonda position.
  23. It would be easier just to convert something from Forza 3, or Shift, or whichever game that already has the full body mapped to a single texture.
  24. That's already been done, if I remember correctly, Grin did it.
  25. Link in sig, this version of the M3 E92 uses the same cams as Tool's version of the car.
