Just look at this: Not many cars can hide an engine packing well over 500 hp in such a graceful and somewhat-understated exterior. So for me it's the 2010-present Shelby GT500.

Saw a big orange Ford Raptor on the way to my local music store today, before it was pouring with rain a couple minutes later. And on my way back I curiously spotted a blue VW Mk5 R32 that had been somewhat riced on my street... oh well.

Well today first started out bad because I came to the realization that classes are starting within 3 weeks, and I was doing pretty crummy at ten-pin bowling at first. But after I got into a rhythm and relaxed, I started firing bowling balls at the pins like it was my job, and eventually did 8 games (5 non-stop). Now my thumb's blistered and my feet are sore, but it was worth it to have a good time. :D

Ooh yes, I collect mainly 1:64 cars (since they're really cheap and easy to find, aka Hot Wheels, Matchbox, etc.) and I focus on collecting the real, licensed cars that I like rather than the awkward-shaped fantasy ones. I also have a 1:24 2010 Shelby GT500, and I want to get more 1:24 models as well. Lol don't worry, I'm the passenger in the car for these trips. And next time I'll try editing the pics more so that they're lower-profile and more anonymous, as not to give anyone's personal info away. :) All Interstates look the same. The one I saw the Panamera on was the DC Beltway :D

Today I started my first official day of car photography, and the results sucked (mostly because of my partially-broken 5 year old camera). The first car I tried to take a picture of was a maroon Cayman S, but my camera wouldn't turn on and I missed it as it drove away. Some other cars I didn't get to take pics of were at least 3 2011 Mustang GT's, a blue C6 Corvette, and a Bentley Continental (they were all in the oncoming lane :() But I did end up getting (crappy) pictures of a black Porsche Panamera and a green BMW M3 E36: -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- It's not much, but I'll try again for the next couple days (since I'll be going in and out of DC for volunteer work). :)

Interesting spotting yet again on my way to and from my local bowling alley. On the way there I saw a red Viper SRT10 coupe and a M3 E46 convertible. On the way back I saw another E46 M3 convertible and a white Porsche 911 GT3 R (probably a 996) on the back of a truck, with a bright red "PORSCHE" on the side and interesting livery. Oh, and at the local vitamin store I also saw a humble white C4 Corvette with a pink umbrella in the back, a red WS6 Firebird and a white 750i. I really need to bring my camera with me more often :p EDIT: I also saw a orange Challenger SRT8 coming home from my local supermarket, just remembered :)
