  1. That sucks...:crying: Hopefully I can run TDU2, but Im not 100% sure yet. I wish they would keep them up. I mean, how hard can it be?? (:cheeky:)
  2. My trial has run out, so I was wondering if someone who had it could get me a map for my zenvo grill. Texture is attached;) Thanks in advance:thumbsup:
  3. Forgot to check something when I was scaling the body, so the normals had been messed up. Went and completely redid the work, and all turned out well, normals fixed, so progress is on again:thumbsup: Just thought Id chuck up some quick pictures:cheeky:
  4. To use a custom texture, add it to a material (if you dont know about that I can explain), you can create a whole new one, but if you are new to all this, might be easier to modify one of the ones that is already on the car. Just make sure the texture has the same name as the one you will be replacing with it in the bnk.;)
  5. Dunno how well I can explain it but here goes. If your model already has texture maps then when you click the Surface>Mapping>Edit UV then on the options have the Keep Current Mapping ticked, but make sure Disable Current Map is not enabled, otherwise you wont be able to move anything. If it doesnt have a map already, then have the Generate New box ticked. It will then come up with a map from the viewport you choose (in the options further up). To edit the mapping, on one of the viewports change it from whatever it is (Top, Left, etc) to UV Mapper, and then edit the map as though it were a model. Hope that helps:thumbsup:
  6. Thanks. Using the NFS Carbon model, so no good interior. Will probably release V1.0 within a day or 2 with a lowpoly cockpit, then totally rework it to make it better for V2.:)
  7. Just spent a few hours today having a bit of a play round with some things...;) http://i799.photobucket.com/albums/yy271/MarcusG2009/20100610201429.jpg
  8. Yeah, works great, thanks! :)

  9. Tried making my own custom plate, something went a bit wrong. Anyone willing to make this into a plate?
  10. To get the models from TDU into Zmod you use File>Import then select the .3dg file you want. There should be a .3dg file with the .3dd file. You need the full version of Zmod to import though. If you cant buy atm, then download the TDU Example Pack as it contains the Alfa GT model. (http://www.zmodeler2.com/?mode=dl&ID=19) When you are done editing what you want, use File>Export and export as a .3dg file. Zmod will also create a .3dd and .2dm file to add to the mod .bnk. Hope that helps a bit;)
  11. Joined up, name is Marcus_G;)
  12. Hi all, Trying to replace the Koenigsegg CC8 with my Zenvo ST1. Encountering a few problems I hope someone can help out with. 1-Cant seem to get the normal right. I will calculate them, and it will all look normal, then when I import they all get messed up again... 2-Cant seem to replace some textures. I use the file browser to replace them, but nothing ends up getting replaced, when I extract the file they are not replaced. 3-Getting confused by thing being changed to CCR. In the textures it says cc8_grid or something, but then in the file browser it says ccr_grid. It isnt a super problem, but I dont know if it is contributing to the other problems... Can provide pics if people want... Thanks in advance:thumbsup: EDIT: Figure out the thing with CCR and CC8, had been replacing files in Tools CCX mod which I have on the CC8 as I dont have the megapack. And files have been replaced...
  13. Just had a go at importing the rims just to have a break from working on the body, worked well IMO.
  14. Ah okay:lol: Got the badge picture straight from the LP640 Roadster.;)
  15. Thanks Is indeed III. Didn't know you people had heard of such things:cheeky: Here can't wait for IV;)
  16. Was at an organised car run on the weekend. Great fun, and lots of great cars! Here is some of the shots from it. Hope you like:) For more see my Flickr page: http://www.flickr.com/photos/49936816@N05/
  17. Progress is pretty slow, got college/uni exams in a few weeks, after that I have 6 or 7 weeks of holiday though! Just a pic from Zmod, slowly getting it prepped for an import. Never tried to import a completely new car (V12 was based off the original V8 Vantage), so Ill see how that goes.
  18. Nice pics! Love the LP640 in that colour:D
  19. SL is looking great! Only question is if the grill on the front bumper shouldnt be so bright? Even so, cant wait to get my hands on it:thumbsup:
  20. DW, just found one...Seem to have a habit of spending ages trying to find something, posting a question, then immediately thinking of the answer.
  21. The Chinese get them cause they have money. Lots and lots of money. As for the mod, reckon we need to get a plain SV sorted, Forza model looks a likely suspect to use. Once you have that, China edition is fairly straight forward.
  22. I do have an X-BOW model. Few other things I have scheduled to do first though, so it may not be done for a while:(
  23. Picked up a bright red Corvette ZR1 today. Looked so epic I will try and get a ZR1 mod going. But gotta finish my other projects first...
  24. Working now:thumbsup: Just gotta get myself that megapack now...
  25. http://www.topgear.com/au/car-news/hennessey-venom-gt-pics-2010-03-30 Says Exige-based supercar. Although the Exige is based off the Elise anyway.
