  1. I agree, but untill i learn how to make my own TDU mods, i have to stick with this sort of thing. And it's very sad, not kinda. Lol
  2. The point here is to discuss the categories and ideas for how the "Download" section of the forums will work. Because now, with this new platform, the forum can host files on it's own, without the need of a third-party file host and modders posting a link. kmix-rider didn't understand the topic and went off it, waaaaaaaaaaaaay off. ^ As the OP says.
  3. Yeah, plus, these effects can vary from computer to computer. Weaker the computer, faster they will get the issues. So, some people might never experience it at all. One thing that helps is avoid keeping other stuff open in the same time as the game, such as web browsers, spotify, etc.
  4. You mean revert it back to the original color?
  5. Yes, sadly there is an issue with the car. The problem is the mod itself, the AE86 mod. Sadly, the modder who did it, didn't really optimized it for TDU, which makes it "heavier" for the game, causing the glitches. Some other vehicles can have the same effect. How to fix it? Use another AE86 mod file. Problem to do that? Not many good AE86 mods around, and that happens with other cars aswell, sadly, untill someone makes a real good AE86, we're stuck with it. I've replaced some cars that could find other and better models (ex: 959), but that is not possible with all of them. Edit: And yes, it's a "2JZ swap". Lol
  6. Check it and tell me if it worked. DB.bnk Edit: Lol, just something funny, original TDU DB.bnk has 610kb of size, TDU Platinum's DB.bnk is already at 3880kb. I guess i've made it quite larger than original.
  7. You know that you can attach files up to 5mb in the messages here, right? DB.bnk is usually smaller than that. Lol
  8. So, if you tried and couldn't do it, don't you think you shouldn't be saying this: You saw how hard it can be to work with encrypted files, so you are really sure that modders don't want to explore the files, or you're just assuming it? My point is, everyone do what they can, and we can't pressure them to do anything just because we want them to do it. We've got this far on modding thanks to a few people who spent their time and hard work to make it possible and they didn't charge anyone, so, don't take it all as granted, because it isn't. Be thankful and understand their side, since you've tried to be in their shoes for only 2 weeks and already gave up.
  9. Hard to say, because it depends on how much free time i get. But it will be released eventually. But if you're waiting it to be released, only to get the released cars to be bought a thousand times, you can send me your DB.bnk and i can do it for you. But remember, this only will work on your game.
  10. I think that's mostly fine, in TDU's case i'd just adjust it a little bit to Mods TDU Vehicle Environment Others /UI (This is where you can find sound mods, HUD file mods, rim mods, physics mods, Packs and Project Paradise) Tools (This is where you can find modification tools, such as TDU Performance Editor, TDU Modding Tools and TDUF Toolset 1.12) TDU2 Vehicle Environment Others / UI Tools All other games
  11. Nobody. Nick, i said i will upload it here AFTER i release TDU Platinum. Not before. Lol
  12. Soon new images will be posted in the main thread. As soon as i finish the work going on the Subaru.
  13. I don't blame them, i wonder that myself! Lol
  14. Why are you against it?
  15. Sometimes it is troublesome, but usually there are other ways around it. Problem is when the file is actually new, like the Bugatti Divo and Chiron Sport.
  16. As i said, old debate that's not really the point. I can clearly understand that "moral" about opening and ripping models, but that's not the topic, nobody here is talking about opening a mod, re-working a mod or re-uploading it as their own. Just to make old mods, that once could be downloadable here, dowloadable again. The major question is, how we do that? What is the best way to achieve it? Contacting modders? Doing it regardless? And this is what i said, but with a better choice of words. Do anyone have a problem with this approach? If so, what do you suggest?
  17. Not sure if i agree with this statement entirely. Mostly because we could debate what it moral and convenience in this matter and what is not. Are we taking into consideration only the modders? Are we taking into consideration the case of most 3D people who worked to make these cars for another game that got ripped off and uploaded as raw 3D models and textures? Are we taking into consideration the fact that actually mod the game is something that the original creators of the game didn't want to, since we needed Djey to actually make TDU modding possible by making the Magic Map file? But that's an old debate, and it could be extended a whole lot more. As for my opinion on the Mod section planned, i think that we should try to get in touch with the most modders we can find, via email or whatnot and ask if they give us the permition to re-upload. Those who give us an answer, we accept and do as they wish, but those who we can't get in touch with, and the mod is at least 5 years old... i don't really see a problem.
  18. Each TDU game that has been modded has a different database file. It is impossible to do it for everyone. What i will do, later on, with the release of TDU Platinum, is upload a database that already allows prize cars to be bought more than once, in the TDU Platinum Club. (Link below) TDU UT is a tool created by DJey, that can decrypt .db files. Although, TDU UT is no longer required if you use TDUF 1.12.
  19. Thanks, i really appreciate that. I trully do.
  20. Ontopic though, i don't see a problem of re-upload of ancient mods that can be found in other websites. And about your mods Zoqqer, it's a different matter because you're still here and we can hear directly from you, i wonder about the mods that we can't get in touch with the creator, what should we do? For ex: Tool381. Edit: And Combat, has left all the links in a single post, like this one: So, would be a matter of just re-organize these.
  21. Shhhhh! Don't say it out loud, people will figure it out about our secret. Lol
  22. Well, yes, but how often do new forums get added? I believe it's better this way untill we find a better solution for it. Because as you said, you see clubs as a mini-forum, forum inception, it's a good thing to keep the discussion inside them outside the main forum, where the real important stuff happens. Imo.
  23. That's what i did. It had a ticked box, saying to display "all". I unticked it, and selected the whole forum. Club topics won't be displayed there anymore, it seems.
